maybe we all work in the same type of business? I am in B2B sales and Business Development, I missed a call from this number as well, they left a voicemail, but it just sounded like someone mashing buttons.

I've had the same call on my work line twice now, too.  I'm in IT/databases, so probably different business.  I'm going to pick up next time and figure out who this is.

I got the same call on my mobile,  I'm in IT.

It's from a company called Sybase. I'm in software development/

Just got a call from this number... it was some guy looking for an automotives company...

Guy calls my cell phone and asks for me by name (first and last).  I confirmed with him twice I was this person.  He then says he is sorry, and had the wrong number.  This is strange because my name is very unique.  I'm also in the IT business. Some sort of telemarketing company verifying good numbers maybe?

I am also in IT, had my first and last name, they were looking for a different company name then mine or even one I have ever heard of.

I receive calls from this number almost every day. They ask for one of my reps. They won't give any information on who they are except for the name of their company "Connect a sale" until they speak with that specific person. I even told them I'm the sales rep's boss and they still won't give me information. I googled them and found NOTHING. This is annoying!

I had a hangup in our voicemail from this number.  We are in software & services, not quite IT, but might appear so to the uninformed.

This is so strange.  I just received a call from this number asking for me at this number, i told him its me but he says this is a wrong number.  I asked him how could it be that he is calling my number asking from me and then say it the wrong number but he said again he was looking for someone with the same name but its not me.

I just got a call from this number, and when I picked up, the caller said nothing and hung up after 7 seconds.

I also received a call from this number, and I am in IT also.  No VM left.

Today this company, yesterday the same company, different city. Every day a different city. I'm in it also

What's the purpose of being on a do not call list when these people use a different phone number every day?

you are mistaking this scam for a legitimate telemarketer.  CROOKS do not care about the do not call laws and only legitimate businesses follow the DONOTCALL LAWS..

I received a call from this number just now... no VM.. I am HR for a IT Consulting Company. A little odd I'd say.

They call for someone by name and say it is on behalf of their boss and want to be transferred, but don't know the nature of the call.  This seems to be the latest ploy to get through.  Caller usually has an accent.  I do not forward calls or give information if the caller can't provide more details.  Same thing for 214-613-0174 and 617-507-1459.  This is the third call received today from the different numbers and different callers using the same spiel.

I received a call from this number today and picked it up. The name they were asking for was my firstname and the company I work for as my lastname. The company they were looking for was my actual lastname.

I also work in the IT field.

I forgot to mention that I called it back and I was put into a conference room. The message just kept going on about facebook and social networking and how it could help my company.

I tried every key on the phone and nothing happened.
