Read above posts - answering anything bordering on a personal question (like what's your favorite color) is "risky". Have had security questions in the past ask the same thing.......- Caller: Unknown
- MadAsHellThat favorite color thing threw up my firewalls and I asked in not so nice words, why the hell he wanted it.

- WkdWchWst| 1 replyThis Bozo said he was calling from Hewlett-Packard (pronounced it incorrectly). He had my personal cell phone number, my hotmail email address, my old home address, the name of the company I currently work for, and a job title from a decade and a lifetime ago. I was suspicious, but he dropped the names CNet and TechRepublic, so I thought maybe he was going on some old info on a form from long ago. He didn't recognize the name of the international media giant company I work for, and wanted to know what they do. Um. DUH. It will be a slam dunk to find in a Google search. But then he asked my favorite color and I told him it sounded like social engineering and that I was no longer interested and hung up. So how do I report this guy for fishing?

- CindyThis number called my cell phone. Caller ID showed it coming from San Francisco. When I answered there was a voice saying CBS Verification, January 31, and then click. Called it back and a recording came on saying no calls were being accepted at this time, and that the mailbox was full. Called back a second time, and this time a male voice answered, Hello this is CBS Direct. Went on to say no one could answer the phone at this time, please a message. Then the female voice, same as the first one, filled in that the mailbox was full and no messages could be taken at this time.
- Caller: CBS Direct
- John T.Caller said his name was James calling from Google, and he was going to send a link to my e-mail address (correct address) that would take me to an "On Demand" tutorial on Cloud technology and how it can help businesses, etc.
Really? Google called me? Strange he didn't want to send the link to my GMail account; you'd think Google would know I had one. May be a good thing this guy only had one of my junk accounts.- Caller: Google?
