Got a call and no message. I did not answer. I don't recognize the number.

I keep getting calls, night and day even on Sunday and they do not leave a message.

I have received many calls from this number 415-363-9581. Each time they talk after the answering machine takes the call saying :"Hey Terry I know that you are there pick up".I do not know who they are and what they want. So today I get a call and answered it. I said hello....I waited and said HELLO! nobody answered and I could hear them in the background talking.....so I hung up...This is really getting old...and how did they get my name?

GENERAL CONSENSUS: AVOID AVOID - DO NOT ANSWER

* These critters call as late as 9:00 pm in the evening and on weekends.
* They are reported to call from numerous numbers.
* They ignore the do not call list.
* Sometimes there is an automated message
* When not automated they often do not respond when the targeted victim
answers the phone but have on the other hand been reported as taking
malicious vindictive retaliatory action (such as threatening war-dialing every
second and then actually doing it for a short time!) when someone "dares"
to hang up on them.
* Sometimes they harrass the victim by their first name when speaking
to the message machine.
* When they do actually consescend to speak to the victim who unwarily
answers their phone, they claim to be  taking a survey on the victims
views of the Sacramento Municipal Utilities District (SMUD)

This is odd (as in suspicious) as most of the calls are to numbers that are
outside of their service area. Furthermore, the number shoing on coller ID
415 363 9581 (if not spooffed) is from a San Francisco locaton.

One victim reported they called the number (415-363-9581) back and the
recording gave the website www.mwrcenter.com. From the website, this
perservering individual called the contact number 208.232.1818 and reports
selecting option 8 to be removed from their list. Thay state someone actually
answered and asked for all numbers that they would like them to remove.
and were then told it would take effect immediately.  No report on the veracity
of that promise.

called to do a survey to get a 380K bond for Riverside/Norco/Corona schoold district.  I SAID HELL NO!   cut the fat!  and there is your 380k........

No idea who this phone number belongs to.

when i answer... nothing for about 10 seconds then it hangs up. Call back straight to answering machine. Supposedly "Mountain West Research Center" independant survey/ research company.  website listed by recording www.mwrcenter.com. doesnt sound legit to me. sounds like a college kid matching phone numbers to IP's for some reason. kinda hard to survey/ research something if no words are every exchanged. this has happened multiple calls...

I got a phone called today from 415-363-9581. There  is a woman that goes by the name Kat Ramirez, I think she is connected to these people, she stole my house keys and I believe broke in my house several times when I left the garage door opened for a short while. She called me from a 415-666-5222 number, please we need to stay on top of this and
let people know what is going on.

Call at 2 pm on a Sunday from 415-363-9581. Young male asking to speak with the youngest male in the house. I asked him to take me off his list and he rudely stated that there wasn't a list. I asked him again to take me off the list and not to call back. Extremely rude.

I've gotten at least 7 calls from this number (415-363-9581). I moved from the bay area to San Francisco so they are calling me at 10:45pm on a regular basis. Most calls I miss, but I've talked to two people and told them the situation and to put me on the do not call list and they don't seem to understand what that is. It is very aggravating. No idea how to get them to leave me alone.

Call from this number, answering machine picked up and a man with English accent asking for a specific name left no message.

Been getting at least three calls every evening for the last two days.. Grr, nobody is ever on the other end. I am on the Do Not Call List.,these folks need to get into trouble for bugging the folks that are on the Do Not Call List. So annoying..

Got calls from this number twice. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize and my voicemail is programmed to not permit messages to be left unless the number is an approved contact, Guess I'll just block the number.

You guys have to remember that most of these calls are computer controlled. Servers dial out numbers all day and if someone answers, they are switched over to a call center. The caller ID is almost always spoofed. This is illegal, but the norm for this type of business. They also do not care about any "Do Not Call" list, or requests to be taken off any "list" they have. The person on the phone is just there to make a sales pitch and does not control the servers doing the actual dialing.

How do I know this? I work for a marketing company(print, not a call center) and we know several companies that operate like this.

We've been getting calls from this number for the last few days; typically, a few calls a day. Never a human on the other end -- it's always a fax machine tone.

This number is also harassing me. They call at least 3 times a day and late into the night. I have not picked up but they call sometimes 5 minutes apart. I actually timed it! In my opinion there should be some kind of legal action threatened as this is harassment and willnot be tolerated. I am calling my phone provider tto block this number and report them as being inappropriate.
