- CHICASame as top post. We get these companies all time wanting our collection business. I dump them into the CFO's v-mail as we already have a collection agency. They never identify themselves
- Dan G.Scum cold callers wasting everyone's time. If you can't leave a message, then your call is obviously not important.
- BradRCalled me today verifying who I was then said they would call me back.
Dolly was the secretary saying Michael something wanted to talk to me. - Michael SmithA "German" accented scum [***] called and told me that he was from BMW Motors. He tried to confirm whether my name was Michael. When I said yes, he asked if it was Michael Salley. Then he pretended that he couldn't hear me and said that he would call me back.
- Caller: BMW Motors?
- Call type: Prank
- mmI got the "BMW Motors" scam looking for "(my first name) Smith" -- on an extremely crackly line from a non-English speaker with an accent that seemed either Thai or Indian. I don't know which phishing scam it is but they called a U.S. Government office.
- brumansno msg left. toronto
- Mark Not SmithDispleasure of getting a call on my cell phone from someone asking for me by my first name. <Heavy southern asia accent.> I asked, who is this? "Brian Scofield from Infomatica". Asked who again, "Brian Scofield from Infomatica." How can I help you, I said? "Are you Mark? " I replied, you called me. How can I help you? "Are you Mark?" What can I help you with?, I said. "Are you Mark Smith <wrong last name>". No Mark Smith here, better guess better next time buddy. Not sure what he wanted and didn't want to find out. I wish I had more time waste more of his.

- FED UPThe individuals continue to contact my home phone number asking for the same person who is supposedly with GT Nexus. This was probably the 20th time these people have called. I have asked them each time they have called to remove my number or I will report them. This individual said she was with Connect and Sell. I asked what the nature of the business was and she said "she wasn't at liberty to say". I said, "THEN STOP CALLING HERE". I can tell by the accent that each of these individuals are from India. The do not speak English well, they are hard to understand and obviously do not "hear" English any better than they "speak" it. (They take American's jobs for a cheaper rate from American people who are more qualified and unemployed ... but that is a whole different discussion for another forum.
- Caller: Connect and Sell
- meMan with a strong Indian accent, "Joseph," asked for our Controller.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- A. H.There have been numerous calls from different numbers calling our main line, all asking for our CFO by name with the same basic dialog.
When I ask them what their call is regarding they all say the same thing:
"My name is Susan* and I am calling on behalf of David L__*. David has asked for me to transfer the call to him once I connect with 'your CFO'."
I then ask again.. and what is your call regarding?
"I am not sure what this call is regarding, I have not been informed of that"
I have googled a few of the numbers - and the comments all appear to be the same - definitely junk. - Tom howardThey call and say Tom? I said yes. Then they said Tom Reed?
I was immediately suspicious of the call. They said they are looking for Tom Reed and they are looking to transfer them to someone once they get them on the phone. I called his bluff and asked to be transferred but then he said the person was on another call and then the line started to break up (just like someone above said).
He refused to tell me me anything and it was certainly not a debt collector. The truth is I am politically active online and it's almost certainly a government effort to update my FBI folder. I received another similar call to a different telephone number as well.
Big Brother monitors mostly everyone these days including probably you if you are reading this. - AngelaSomeone asking for the Owner by name - can hardly understand, has a thick accent. Say he is with TriNet - once I get Owner on the phone he will transfer him someone named David - told him no thank you and hung up.
