Typical Microsoft scam call - Indian guy saying you have a virus on your computer, but I'll fix it etc. I hung up.

A guy called saying he was calling from  windows Microsoft  that my computer had a virus

A foreign guy called saying he was calling from  Microsoft  that my computer was being attacked by a virus. I told him that Microsoft doesn't make personal calls and not to call my number ever again! The same number called me again the very next day (May 16, 2015) at 11:09 am but went straight to voicemail. I thank this website for showing that I am not the only person that is getting these calls and so I don't second guess myself that it might have been Microsoft but I can see now it was definitely a SCAM. Thank you to all for reporting your incidents, too.

called saying their was a virus attacking my Microsoft computer. I interrupted saying he was an idiot for even thinking I would run a windows operating system and to not waste my time. He said let me waste your time for one more second, how would you like my dick in your [***]. I hung up and blocked the number

This is why you don't argue with them, call them back, or talk to them. Just hang up. Block the number, or area code & be done with it. If the scammer can't talk to you he makes no money.

Called me during a meeting.. left no answer...

This number keeps calling repeatedly. Finally, I answered and it was a very rude foreign guy. Really couldn't understand much that he said but enough to figure out it was a scam. Told him to never call this number again but I'm sure they will.

Some very rude Indian guy called in and offered me 7800$ Government Grant. We I asked him his details he started using bad words in Hindi and then I hung up on him. He called me several time and then I blocked his number.

I got this number on my computer, which finally locked me out.  I called the number, even went through the process of fixing my computer.  My computer was less than a week old.  After fixing the damage he did to my computer in order to fix it, he told me that their cheapest policy was $299.99.  How would I like to pay it.  I told him that I had not paid that much for the computer, to which he replied "Go buy a more expensive computer."  He then told me there was nothing he could do and I would just have to live with the crashed computer.

My brother-in-law checked it out and found no trace of a virus.  There was no virus.  This is a variation of the Ransom and Korea viruses.

The are listed as CBC out of New Jersey, but may be located in North Korea. which has a phone number of 855-779-4007.  For 2onths they kept calling me asking me how did I want to pay, with money order or debit card.

This afternoon I got a call from the San Francisco phone number, 415-481-3145.  This is a scam.  Do not let them into your computer, as I did.

This same phone number keeps calling me. Usually about my computer.
Today it was him saying he was calling about a US grant... And i qualify for free money.
I told him to remove me from his call list and he kept repeating "i love you, i love you, i love you alot, but i love you..."

I was getting $7,000 for being a good tax payer (grant). They wanted me to confirm my identity by bringing 2 forms of ID and $250.00, which would be refunded to me with my $7,000 (cash). Gave me an address and case # etc.. after I listened to the whole spiel, I said " Ok... but you do know, that I know, you are full of [***].. right"?

Keep getting calls from that number most times its  foreign guy but one time a female called basically to call me and tell me they were "[***]" after I realized it was a scam from the first time they called. They keep calling so I just decided to [***] with them back.. I guess he gets mad and hangs up but it's fun.

Call from 415 481 3145 scam! Call don't give in! I don't accept calls from numbers I don't recognize.
