Someone called us from this number asking for a specific name and could hardly speak English. When we attempted to find out who this was, there was no response so we hung up. The phone caller ID identifies this person or company as "PBIS" which according to a search online should be a Behavioral Institute but may not be.

I also got a couple of calls from this register, but every time I answered there was only silence. I have no idea what this number is

Yup, getting calls from this number with hang-ups and the same PBIS i.d. that I just had to specially look up.

If Vita is right, this in no way helps Mr. Lee and I'd like it to stop. What is the point in spooking people with NO MESSAGE and bothering them early in the morning to boot?

I don't have FB, so please someone get him/them to stop!!

unidentified caller, call back number has "full voice mail box".

Asked for my husband, who wasn't home.  Would not leave a message.  Said they'd call back.  I said "please don't."

To get removed from the list, call (415) 829-7302 (campaign HQ).

I got the same thing. I said, "Who's calling, please?"

"Andy."

"Andy who?"

"Andy."

"What is this in reference to?"

"Is he there or not?"

Excuse me?!? You call me, demand to speak to my husband, and then refuse to give me a full name or say what it's about? You're not going to get to talk to him that way. All you're going to do is tick off his wife.

Got a call from 415-522-7304, with PBIS identification.  Caller asked for my husband; when I explained he was on another call, he said he would call back, hung up as I was explaining that during the day I serve as his assistant and call screener.  

From a note below, picked up the Leland Yee campaign number and dialed. Answerer knew exactly what I was talking about when I read thye offending number..   Eplained what I'd gotten call from someone terribly rude who would not identify himself.  Also explained that our response to political calls at our house, particularly those placed by a rude caller, will mean instant disqualification for the candidate.

Get these calls at least once a day.  Why can't Pacific Bell act on the volume of complaints and stop this obvious scam?

I wouldn't vote for this annoying person just based on the fact they need to bother everyone at home.  If they were any good their reputation would get them votes!!!!!  I have had up to three calls a day and they always ask for my husband, he refuses to take the call, annoying someone is not the way to get their vote!!!

I JUST CALLED PBIS AT 829-7302 AND A PERSON FROM LELAND YEE'S OFFICE ANSWERED THE PHONE.  I FILED MY COMPLAINT WITH HIM AND THAT I WOULD NEVER VOTE FOR LELAND YEE BECAUSE OF THIS OBNOXIOUS PHONE HARRASSMENT.  IF YOU CALL 829-7302, THEY WILL REMOVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER FROM THEIR PHONE LIST.

20 calls in 4 days?  No thanks.  Plus they just hung up.  But I did call 829-7302 and the woman who answered was very polite and did remove me from the phone list.

I get a call every day, some days more than once,  from PBIS 415 522 7304.  There is no one on the line when I answer.  I hang up,  and phone the number on my screen (above).  I get a message:  " Please leave a message", then a second later "the mailbox is full."  Same exact thing every time.
 WHO ARE THEY?  CAN SOMEONE MAKE THEM STOP !

I also received many called from 522-7304, without anyone answering and with the mail box full. I followed the advice given and called 829-7302. A gentleman answered and said he would remove my number from their call list. I did tell him they are losing a lot of votes, and maybe mine, that they should terminate the 522 number and only have live humans call people. Whenever I receive a robotic all from any outfit, I stop dong business with them if a company, stop donating to them if an alleged charity, and stop voting for them if office seekers. I would like to see a law that allows us to terminate any robotic call immediately, although our brilliant Supreme Court said that machines have constitutional rights to preempt our phone service and that we have no supervening constitutional right to the service when they want to use it. But then our brilliant Supreme Court also said that corporations have the same if not greater constitutional rights in political influence than we human persons do.

At least that is the view form this computer keyboard.

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru.
But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

Caller ID spoofing is the practice of causing the telephone network to display a number on the recipient's Caller ID display which is not that of the actual originating station. The term is commonly used to describe situations in which the motivation is considered malicious by the speaker or writer. Just as e-mail spoofing can make it appear that a message came from any e-mail address the sender chooses, Caller ID spoofing can make a call appear to have come from any phone number the caller wishes. Because of the high trust people tend to have in the Caller ID system, spoofing can call the system's value into question.

It is amazing that such a crooked practice is allowed to go on!
Where are the feds when I need them????? I wrote to my US Rep...no response!

Bottom line: IGNORE IT and never give the other side ANY information. PERIOD!

I received 14 calls from Yee Campaign.  I answered and they do not respond.  When I call back, their voicemail is full.  I called the Leyland Yee Campaign at 415-829-7302 and they removed my phone number from their call list.
