receiving almost daily calls from this number - - no one answers, and line drops after I pick up.

Called at 4:43 and 5:18 pm left no message.  Really tired of these calls.

called twice in 20 mins, no message left.

Always calls twice, back to back.  This has been going on for weeks.  They always call in the evening.

I think this is a spoofed number, not the real number of the robocaller, because it says out of area on caller id even though it's in my area code.  They call every day, day and night, three times today (so far) on Sunday.  Three or four rings then it stops.  No message.  We are on the do not call list and have reported a number of calls.  I also answered one call from a different number and had a testy exchange with one of these harassers.  I wonder if reporting people actually has caused the harassment to pick up.  I wish the people working at donotcall.gov were more aggressive on responding to these things.  Maybe it's just overwhelming.  Do these people think I would actually buy something from getting annoying calls?

I have recalled the number it has no recording just it's righteous platitude.

Called the # back (with mine blocked) and there was a recording saying they are a survey company and went on to explain the importance of participating in surveys. How about the importance of leaving me alone at 9pm??

Told caller to stop calling.  They called again 20 minutes later.  Some kind of research firm.  Annoying.

Just called again. No answer when you pick up.

Just called. ID had a number that looked like the national debt. Phone # was in my area code. They may have perfected their program to match their target (me) with a number in my area code to get me to answer. I did not answer.

Calls from this number ring 1-1/2 times, then hang up on their own. Get one a day in the early evening. Seems like a robo-call prodding to see if my number is active. I just blocked the number in the Verizon 'Block Calls' menu so we'll see if this number is merely a false facade.

Rec'd calls for last 3 days.  Leaves no message.  Finally answered and after a brief pause, woman came on and asked if she could speak with husband by name.  I said "No."  She asked if he lived there because if he didn't she'd have him removed from call list.  I said No he doesn't live here.  Hopefully that removes us from their list.

Same s*%t different day.  They call twice every day for the past month. It rings a couple of times then hang up.

Everyday I get calls from this number. When I answer there is no one there but also no dial tone.

I'm blocking the number on ios 8 after teading these posts

I get constant calls from this number.  I answer and there is silence.  Who is it and can anything be done to make it stop?
