Yes, it is the SF Opera. Very annoying. Called around 9 PM once, and also the weekend. It's pathetic. I like watching the opera, and I support the opera, but these phone calls are just harassment. They have to pick a better time to call people. Not 9 in the evening.

Called WHILE I was in the audience at the opera! Fortunately my phone was silent, of course. Added them to my "reject" list, which my new phone blessedly has.

This number keeps calling me. Now that I see it is the Opera I know where I won't be spending my free time. Gosh.

I have been receiving calls from this number ever since I went to the SF Opera TWO YRS AGO! It's clearly a sales call. Since I don't "recognize" the number, I don't answer it. If it's important, they will leave a message. I just might report them to the Do Not Call list...

SF OPERA fundraising.  They keep calling. VERY ANNOYING!!!!!!!

I have asked them to remove my name and number from their call list, and yet they repeatedly call me back. It's getting annoying. It is the San Francisco Opera wanting to sell season tickets and get donations. I understand the arts are struggling even more now in this economy, but I do not wish to contribute to pushy companies who do not respect my wishes for them to stop calling me. I already get their season info mailed to my house. I don't need a pushy phone call to!

Called today at 3:08 p.m. at my work number.  I called back and left random noise on the voicemail and tagged it as "urgent".  A good time was had by me :)

Yes, this is SF Opera and they are the most obnoxious people on the face of the earth.  I blocked them a long time ago.  Go to one opera and they've got you:  mailers, phone calls, ad nauseum.

SF Opera is calling at least once a day. It's incredibly annoying. Next time they call I just might answer and tell them off ... using strong language.

It's really really putting me off from ever going to SF Opera again. Too bad, because I like it. But I don't want to support this kind of behavior.

Please take me off your call list.

I recommend that you complain about them on Twitter and on their Facebook page where their fans can see. Their Twitter handle is @SFOpera.  I got fed up with their calls and began to wage a war of being obnoxious about them were everyone can see.  I quickly got an apology by tweet, and a promise that I had been removed from their list.  I didn't *ask* them to take me off their list, I just complained about them spamming me, wasting their resources, being rude and ignorant, etc.  They initated the response. Try it.
