Called with voicemail indicating they were from IRS and I should contact them immediately.  I returned the call and a man with a middle eastern accent answered saying "IRS".  The noises in the background didn't match an IRS office and I wouldn't provide any additional info.  I suspect it's a scam

Same thing, robotic recording "from IRS".

answered the call and asked if it was a scam and the guy admitted that this was a scam.

Recvd 2 calls from Novato, Ca. (415) 599-2994 & brief VM stating I should call back "before action is taken against me". DELETE~!!!

IRS phishing scam.

I work with auditors in virtually every sector as a government employee and we still use snail mail believe it or not, with a number on it to discuss any issues. It is a scam.

I just got the same call...same Nicky...same number, again IRS.  NOT returning the call!

got a call from 415-599-2994 , middle eastern accent , name was john Anderson , agent # 1002183487 , said he was from IRS office in Washington , total scam after I asked a few questions

Received 2 calls today. Hung up on once and told to call a Nikki back. Yea...not happening. I have had to talk with the IRS and they use Snail Mail, rarely do they call.

Recording received claiming to be with the IRS "Washington District Office" caught me off guard and immediately asked me to verify mailing address.

Used to having that asked as a piece of verification to "pull my information."

Very heavy accent hardly could understand yet made it seem as if I was the one not being clear.

Needless to say he went right into intimidation tactic by spouting off "IRS Jargon" and legal action script.

I know you should just ignore these calls but this is the 3rd number that has called us claiming to be IRS agents in the last 6 months.  They called our home line 5 times today and I've had it with them.  So I called and told "Officer Nick Johnson" that I have reported this new number to TIGTA and will continue to report the numbers so they might as well take us off their list.  He said Ok he'd take us off.  They left a message with a womans voice claiming to be Officer Nicki Johnson and then have a man claim to be Officer Nick Johnson.  Feel sorry for anyone that falls for this scam.  Hopefully they will stop calling us.

Got a call (twice) from Nikki. She sounds kind'a hot, in a Star Trek kind of way. I guess that she's from the IRS, and she told me not to ignore the call. I think that I will ignore it so that maybe she will show up on my doorstep.

I don't think Nikki is for real, but I can dream.

Some one name nicky left a message at my grandmothers house today saying i needed to call the IRS.  I called the number and a foreign male answered very distorted line saying I had reached the investigation department of the IRS and his name was officer stevens.  I told him thank you for the information so that I could report this nuisance call. Phone ID says number is from Novato, CA.

Got three calls from Office Nicky Johnson and was told to call back of the IRS will take action.  Scam call.  They are calling from Novato California.

got a recorded call saying officer nicci joseph or Johnson called back a guy with a heavy accent answered he said the investigator was going to arrest me in one hour if I didn't give them my information I told him you should have my information if you called me I asked him to put someone else on the line that I could understand and he hung up on me
