Same call today 1:33pm 1/17. Electronic recording auto dailer claiming to be Julie Smith from the IRS.

Since yesterday I've gotten two more of these. Jonathan Knight and Julie Smith seem to be the favorites! Blocking this # now.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I received call from san Francisco ,CA according to my caller ID on Saturday 1/18/2015 and on today 1/19/2014.the recorder have same accent from IRS .the call claim that I should call back or they will take action ,The call had left message today to call Judy Smith at 415 734 7147 .I know  that I'm behind tax only I need to close files ,I had done tax withholding.
Yesterday I thought I may call .Today ,My mind telling me to explore the number with google .thanks God ,I thrust my feeling .thanks for who ever set this web site .It is a great protection .

Received a call this morning @8:30am from Julie Smith claiming to be IRS office and it was a recorded message. I returned the call and got a non-English speaking person stating that he was with the IRS and that they had called me on Saturday and did not answer or return the call.  Which is a lie, I returned the call after listening to the recorded message and got another recording saying that the line was not available.  Today I spoke to the non-English speaking man that said his name was Tomas Water and I asked him for his badge number and he gave me a number of 215607, and said that since I refused to call them on Saturday that legal action was being taken against me and that the police department would be here to arrest me within 45 minutes of the call being completed.  Stated that I owe IRS 4798.65 for 2012-2013 tax year for a fraudulent tax return and that with court cost & interest the total would now be $21785.00 and to go to my local courthouse to solve this issue.  And that they would like to talk to my attorney since I was sent a legal notice on 12/23/14 by certified mail which I never received and was told that no one was home to sign for the letter and that they only were allowed to try once.

I received a call from this number hours ago but because I was busy I didnt realize that I had gotten a call. I looked it up and because I was curious as to what the person on the other line would say to me because I am a college student and I have never had a reason to file taxes because I have never worked anywhere but as a Resident Advisor on campus I decided to call them back. When I called...what do you know...they answered and then hung up quickly. I have not time for scams lmao. I will be blocking the number asap.

I received a call from him and he read me off all these codes and "important" documentations. I said did I pay too much or too little taxes? I didn't work in the 2012-2013 year so I didn't even file, so I knew it was bs. He said "who pays taxes in the household?" I said "I do" and his smart ass said "then you should know how much you pay."

Haha!!! Anyways I said I'd like to recover an official letter THEN I'll speak with my attorney. He said well we can't send papers so I'll just have a officer come to your house with a warrant. And they will seize my bank accounts and property and vehicles.

What happens if I call back and mess with this fool like he's trying to fool me?

- I dialed *67 and was hung up on 4 times. They finally answered on the 5 try.
- Heavy Indian accent.
- I stated that they are calling a private phone number issued to me from the police department.
- They asked me for my last 4 digits of my ss#.  I said, you verify that information.  He asked for it 5 times and each time, I said, you verify it.
- I asked him for the 800 number to the IRS, he didn't know it.
- First off my name is not Tom Anderson.  He said, Tom Anderson matched my phone number.  I made the name up.

SCAM - very aggressive on the phone. Obviously the "team" who calls has been trained extensively on intimation to force information out of individuals.

I recieve a message  from called ID 4157357147 that i own irs  money 2011/2012/2013 and they going to closed my bank take my passport a nd put me behined the bar for 5 years ,and he said iam not belong to this country i will go back where i came from. and I try to get more imformation from him he said let me hire antony within 45 minutes becouse  the police is comming to arrest me .
