This is Personal Capital - probably calling you to set an appointment for an investment strategy review.

They have called several times
Annoying - I have zero interest in them. Maybe not a scam - but still annoying.

Called again - just plated music for them

Received incoming call from 415-800-5922.  Caller name is:  Ryan Emerson

Since I did not recognize the number or the person, I did not answer the call.
Reverse look-up shows caller is:  Personal Capital Advisors Corporation.

I did not solicit the calls nor do I want to receive them.

If you went on line to personal capital for their free assessment of the diversity of your portfolio,  they will not quit calling to try to get you to their services.

Got a call and they left a message.  This is from a company called peek that calls often.  We have told them we aren't interested in their services.

The want to resell services and in order to get business they bad mouth other vendors including the one we are currently using and quite happy with.

I'm about to add them to my blocked caller list.

Personal Capital, calling about review of portfolio. I did sign up for their service, and also received an email. As long as they don't call again, I'm fine with it.

They called me a left me a message but I could not understand a single word of the message -- they are in violation of the no-call registry

This is a company that bought a list from Morningstar They are and RIA selling there services.

Personal Capital.  If you signed up for their website, they are calling to set up appointment to manage your money.  They call about once a month

Financial software and advising service called Personal Capital. I use their software which is great, but have no interest in them managing my portfolio so I just ignore the calls which come about once a month or less. Their software is free so they have to make money somehow.

This is legit from Personal Capital and not a scam.

I checked their website which has some free services. The call was to see if I was interested in investment management. I basically said I was with Vanguard and was not interested.

They called my cell phone. Very few people have my cell phone number, so I picked up, thinking it might be someone I know. Instead it was Kevin from Personal Capital wanting to set up appointment for someone to review my portfolio. Told him I was not interested and to take my number off their call list. He started to argue with me and I hung up on him and blocked the phone number. "No means NO!"

Cold call from 'Gabe' at Personal Capitol in San Francisco.  He asked if I had any questions about their App (I recently downloaded), and offered a free investment checkup of my portfolio.  I declined saying I had not yet explored the app.'s features.  He ASKED if he could call me back in 2 weeks. We set a phone appointment.  Yes, I sense a sales pitch, but Gabe was no more pushy than typical ... but I haven't (yet) said 'no'.

Called me 39 times in succession. AT&T call protect blocked them. A bit excessive, I’d say.
