Recorded call on my iPhone, claimed to be a call from a prisoner at the San Francisco County Jail, but was free (not collect) and I could press "1" to accept the call.  I hung up.

Got an automated call to my cell phone (listed as SF/North Bay Area) from this number saying it was from the Marin County Jail and to press a number to find out about my payment options or hang up to disconnect......hmmm. I don't know anyone in jail.

When one of your relatives calls you tomorrow morning, and asks for bail money, you will be very sorry they had to spend the night, among degenerates!

Apparently I now know someone in the San Francisco County Jail.  And here I thought I was getting a spurious call from a San Quentin inmate....so many phishing robo-calls these days, ya know.

Just checked the SF county jail phone directory and there is nothing with a 415-802 exchange.

It's probably not part of the sf directory because it's actually the number for calls coming from San Bruno.  In San Francisco you're only housed at 850 Bryant for so long before they send you either to Santa Rita or San Bruno.

I receiving numerous calls from this number today, with a recording that it is a call from (inserts recording of my brother's voice, saying his name), an  inmate at the San Francisco County Jail.  Press "1" for payment options.  I hung up.  Oddly, I am getting a rapid busy signal when I call my brother's cell phone number.

this is SF county jail. i happened to be on the phone with the ADA & this number kept calling. after i hung up i called my vm and there were 3 calls saying that they were my ex boyfriend
i called the ADA and she ran the ex's info and he really was there. I guess inmates get free calls on day one of their incarnation. our tax dollars well spent!  better than paying for collect calls myself.

🤔 I hate to say it but it sounds like your brother is in the SF county jail, & he's trying to call you with a pre paid calling card. 😐 It's no joke! 😳

Received 2 calls on my cell within a short amt of time.  First was a voicemail.  2nd call I answered.  I do not have any relatives or friends in jail.  Inmate's recorded name and Middle Eastern accent unfamiliar to me.  Don't know how my number came into this?  Added number to my phone's auto-reject list.  WEIRD!

I keep getting calls from a 415 802 2001.but when I TeX the number  it doesn't reject the calls.explain that.

OK I've been getting calls from a 415_802 2001 saying that its a call from the county jail but to be honest there isn't supposed to be no number showing  up at all for security' reasons and the only time a call is free is when your going trough processing. So who is going to explain that???.or is the cops letting some of women inmates out at night and are let to use the phones down stair's in processing got ng out at night.??and why can I TeX this number 415 802 2001???
