Loan scam, Raymond Huffman with Citi Financial. Emailed stating approved for a 4000.00 loan wanting me to get a prepaid Visa and give him the PIN number.

Thanks to Citi Financial.Thanks to Raymond Huffman.I got a loan amount of 4000$ into my bank account within 30 to 45 Minutes.I really appreciate.

SO this is a true loan or a phone scam?

Any request for an advance fee to obtain a loan is illegal in every State of the USA. It is also a sure sign of a scam. If your bank & local loan shark won't even give you a calendar, be careful when dealing with on line loaners. If these agents are not located in the USA (which they aren't) you have ZERO protection from US Law when you get ripped off, or things go wrong.

Citi financial loan ,Raymond Hoffman is a scam and I been waiting for 9 days hang up if he calls you or E-mails you don't answer him

My son got scam by Raymond Hoffman he was offered a $4300 loan which he hasn't received yet till he pays $125 as a good faith payment then pay another $200 to insure the loan and then $110 to send to western union to receive the loan and then another $300 to send to the IRS for back taxes all this took place from 9 days ago till now altogether he sent $435 which he doesn't know how he get it back

   I sent Raymond Hoffman $125.00 To have $4000.00 deposited in my acount. He said my bank would not recieve the money. Then he said I needed to send $300.00 so he could Western Union my money. I have not sent the $300.00 and now I'm sure I will not.  F.Y. I.  He also uses Susan Watson's name to recieve funds and another phone # 914-556-5101.

Yes this is a huge loan scam......pre paid $125 to Raymond Huffman at 914 556 5101.  said he was based in San Fran.  but probably in China somewhere....after the pre payment to some Greendot card...he said the transfer woulfd follow within 30 minutes..... he called back and  said that my bank wouldn't except the $4000 wire transfer, I checked with my bank and they said thats B.S., nobody tried to wire into my account.  He then called back and wanted me to pay Western Union $200.00 for them to wire the money to me.....All crap,  SCAM  SCAM

Yes I recieved the same approval letter. I was able to see that it was fraudulent bc the logo wasn't properly placed and they required a payment before receiving the "loan". This is standard procedure so it made me very nervous..this is wrong! I think these people should be prosecuted..

This guy sent me an email but the guy that called me had an Indian accent. The person who answers the phone also had an Indian accent. The email:

What need to happen for this sh** to stop? They keep scaring people every single day and nobody do anything. I called the cops (yes, i really did wasted my time calling the cops) they can't do nothing. I reported them to the FBI and the FTC...nothing. I even called the company: CITI FINANCIAL and they told me they have lawyers to deal with this, LOL!

the number the called me from: (754) 999-1826 FLORIDA....

The caller is in India so the police can not do anything.  Would a really loan company use FREE email addresses???

I fell for this scam. Feel like an idiot. The phone number was 8455204805 . same email from raymond murray and martin smith. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY!!!! Once that money is gone you have no recourse.

I got an email saying I was approved for a $5000 loan. I just needed to pay $220 installments via money gram. I knew it was a scam because the official documents looked very sketchy. Even though it said CitiBank, there were no email or a. business address on the documents at all. So I googled the senders email and found this site.
