- Jason Beasley| 3 repliesTHIS COMPANY IS THE REAL DEAL! I got a call from them as well. Then I saw them on Entertainment Tonight. They were doing a segment on Reality TV casting and how to get on TV. They got rave reviews for ET.
- Bumble BeeI received a phone call from a Jack Diamond also requesting $288.75 ($250.00 plus tax) for some type of card that is needed in order to get me on a program. I am a single mother living on SS disability $640.00 per month supporting a 14 year old daughter on that amount and he wants $288.75! Any one out there who has paid this amount and actually got on one of their reality shows? Please let me know.
- jayman replies to Jason Beasley| 2 repliesmy aunt works for Entertainment Tonight, they were never on it, the whole thing is a scam, dont do it!
- single mom| 1 replyI had just recently applied for reallity show and was called by a Jack Diamond. He said to send pictures and then he called back the next day and said 288.0? was needed immediately for casting shots. Please do not give any money to this man. PLEASE!!!! He didn't get me, Thanks to all those who wrote in, KEEP IT UP!
I googled him and was able to find out he was a fraud from what I read from others, believe these words if you have to pay don't play, remember why you needed the show. YOU NEEDED MONEY OR YOU NEEDED HELP and paying them is helping them, does that make since, THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And GOOD LUCK!!- Caller: hnecasting.com

- tyson rose| 1 replyI got a call from Jack Diamond. he asked for the photos to be sent in and the nhe said I would need to pay for the comp cards. He sent his email address and everything else but I am still skeptical. I think this is a scam to get money. He didn't say how I would need to submit my payment.

- tyson rose replies to jayman| 1 replyThanks for the information.
- LM| 1 replyI hear alot of ppl saying it is legit and a real company. Have any of u actually gotten a job with them? Can u prove it? I, like everyone else, would like the opportunity to be on a show but I am not about to get scammed!
- Caller: No Caller ID, Said it was HNE Castings
- rod replies to LMYou can get the cards printed yourself which i did and it cost me more, but they will represent you just need marketing tools (talent cards) I should have went through them but everybody on this site made me think way to much.
- Samantha replies to kim smithKimberly,
Your not even signed up with Hne Castings, so how can you say they are a scam. If you can prove they scammed you then prove it. All u keep saying is scam but no facts! You shouldn't slander people. - Shawn Mitchell| 2 repliesHello all,
My name is Shawn Mitchell. I'm the CEO of HNE Castings. It never ceases to amaze me how people offer up opinions like they are fact.
Here are the facts:
HNE uses industry standard comp/talent cards to market individuals that they have selected or deemed a high percentage cast within the Reality TV genre.
HNE provides the creative work for these cards free of charge.
The client is responsible for the print production of these cards. They have the option to outsource the prints on their end, or use a recommended print company by HNE.
HNE does not profit one cent from the print production of the cards. They outsource the prints to a third party vendor.
HNE does not make a dime until they find work for their clients. They receive a 15% commission on any income securing opportunities that they provide for their clients.
Therefore, if HNE does not provide their clients with work they LOOSE money!!!!! If it was a scam, it would be the dumbest scam in the history of the world.
If your going to offer an opinion or answer someones question, at least have the decency to do your due diligence or have some knowledge in what you are talking about. They say ignorance is bliss, but not when your ignorance affects others.
I'm always available to answer any inquiries one may have.
Sincerely,
Shawn Mitchell

- Hmmm...| 8 repliesLooked on IMDB and I can't seem to find anything about your company. Can you explain why?
- pam replies to Hmmm...| 2 repliesOk I got call also so I contacted the BBB and according to them there has been 7 complaints filed on them in the past 36 months and all are resolved but one it gives you a map to the office and all. I then checked California's business law page and yes it is legal to get you to pay for your cards but if they do not attain you a job within the time limit they are required to return your money to you as long as you kept your end of contract so before listening to all these blogs I suggest you check with these two sites www.bbb.org/us/ HNE can not change any of this info so you know it is from an outside source they can not control. also do a google search for california attorney generals office consumer alerts on both sites you must search Hollywood North Entertainment it will give you the info and then judge for yourself .
- Erica replies to single momI'm so glad I can across this website.I got a call today from some guy named Jack Diamond 415-839-8866.He asked me about the reality t.v show application I had put in,then he told me to email him at jd@hnecastings.com 3-5 face shots and 3-5 body shots the guy was calling to much if you wanna ask me.Then he dropped the bomb on me when he asked me to send him 288.75 for talent cards. What type of crap is that? He asked for my credit card# I lied and told him I didn't have on and asked if I could send him a money or and he gave me some Canada address.I guess he thought I was dumb so when I researched hne this is what I found thanks to all of you for letting others know is there anyway we can prosecute them for this?
- Erica replies to pam| 1 replyOkay well I contacted BBB also and according to them there has been over 100 complaints on hne castings and all of them have not been resolved. So get your facts straight people.
- melanie replies to Ericaare you on crack or just plain slandering?
They only have 7 complaints, 6 have been resolved. You can view their status online. You must be really stupid or just never passed math.
