Selling extended auto warranty ... When I asked for which vehicle the lady hung up.

Telemarketer - Selling an extended Auto Warranty, wouldn't disclose which company she worked for.  

Woman said she is with the Vehicle Warranty Center and asked how I am.... I responded, "Good. How are you?" and she was completely silent for about 5 seconds and then hung up on me. WEIRD! I already had a feeling the call wasn't legit but come on... So sick of telemarketers.

Monitor calls.  No message left.  Callback to that number would not go through.

Keep calling.  Just tell me they are with the vehicle warranty company.  Won't say what company.

Caller said call was from "Vehicle Warranty Center".  I asked her to confirm the name of the company, and she hung up.

called at our business....again

same story.  when I ask what vehicle..she could not tell me.  then I ask her company's name and she hung up.  this is b.s.   how in the world can a guy get this stopped!!!

did not identify or acknowledge the reason for the call other than asking if my factory warranty had expired.

The same lady, "Jill", called twice in one day, the first time I told her I was on DNC list. Called back in the afternoon, I offered use their service for my 1973 Ford Pinto. She hung up. I think I will try an extended warranty on my Snapper riding mower if they call back. This could be fun as I interpret a vehicle - tractor, bicycle, tricycle, skates, shoes, etc.

Jill called and I said hello. She hung up. Call will not go through. Reverse look up says it is a landline in San Francisco. I am DNC and this annoying w ID theft.  

I get this call too,from so called warranty service. I heard on a radio talk show to answer and immediately hang up this confuses the system and sometimes makes it crash. Not all the time .but give it a try.

The man was polite - but it was an unsolicited call.  Tried to sell me a warranty for my car.  I told him we have great mechanics in the family and he hung up.
