(415) 895-0593 called this afternoon. Listened to entire answering machine message and then hung up. Now blocked by my Ooma phone.

Repeated calls and hang ups.  Deadline answer when I called the number back.

So sick of these abites calling about google. Why would i pay for a listing???? I already have it for free without my permission if i even want it on google. They can kiss my ass. My landline gets google bs and check my computer and solar bs calls constantly. Ready to leave my landline forever.

Called here today, no one picked up when I said hello.

This number called me today.    I want to correct, 895 is a local landline prefix in Novato, CA (North Bay) not San Francisco.  Don't know who this person is.   It showed up as local on my caller ID so I answered.  Silence on other end.

They began with a spiel about PGE and SMUD raising rates.  This was an automated call.

Just got a call about PG and E rate change, called the number back and got a voice mail box with a young womans voice on it.  I sure wish I could stop these telemarketers.  The national no call list is a joke.  

Robo call with a recorded message that, alas, may actually be legal for them to make even with my number listed in the NDNC database.   My answering machine cut off the beginning but it was a telemarketer calling about the "Public Utilities Savings Program" offering a free energy audit.  So it could be a legitimate public service announcement.  I wish I could hear how it started.  

"Press 1 to speak to a 'utilities savings specialist'.  If you no longer wish to be called press 0."

This might be a case where the opt-out may actually work.  If I get a live call I'll try it.  

It is not a public service announcement, it is a ploy to try and get you to switch to an alternative energy supplier or agree to have  someone come to your home to do an "energy audit"  then try to sell you solar panels.  Unless you have given explicit permission for this company to call you with a pre-recorded message, the call is illegal.  It is probably also a DNC violation if they are trying to get you to switch providers or agree to a salesperson coming to your house.

CID was Novato, CA. ROBO call for some "energy saving" service. Did not name company in the recorded message.

Robocall for "free money" through energy savings. Wants to audit your home (and your checkbook).

What these slimeballs really want is to use your identity to get your money at no cost to them. The call is in violation of the robocall prohibition, the prohibition against calling without accurate caller id information, as well as the DNC list. Is the sign of reputable business? Clearly not.  Very likely contractors used are unlicensed and trained to claim unnecessary repairs are needed.

These ROTTEN SCUMSUCKERS called when I REALLY needed an incoming call, and picked up the phone though I did not know who the CID number was.  They did a silent treatment. What that means is that I will once again be on a saleable to other spammers  'sucker list ... this idiot picks up calls and can be spammed by zillions of others' sale list.  May they develop an ugly case of STD.
