Same - called 12:20 PST no message left.  ID says San Francisco, CA.

CA FOP - California Fraternal Order of Police. Can't see that it is a non-prof, but looking for support/donations via pledge. Persistent for $$ pledge.

Looks like another spam caller. Called around 3:30 p.m. No message left.

Didn't leave a message. CallerID said it's from SF.

Another one of those calls for the "Do Not Call List", this is got to stop as I have got over this last weekend 8 calls from this number.  No message left just the unknown caller...

10:42  Called an unlisted business number on Sunday?!?.  Ignored.  San Francisco area left no message.  No message, no importance.  SPAM.  Interesting to see other observations.

Caller info: this number and SAN FRANCISCO CA

answered because it looked like a local call (no area code shown).  Real human launched into a spiel regarding Fraternal Order of Police Lodge raising $ for families of fallen officers.  I said "that's great.  What percentage of funds raised go to that cause?"   Caller paused, then continued his spiel.  I interrupted again with "How much of your revenues go to administration, overhead, and marketing?"  There was no response.  I assumed he hung up.  Make your own judgements.

Money soliciting call! Calls like this are actually cleverly computerized RECORDINGS. You ask a question, it listens for keywords and plays a prerecorded answer. If you say something it doesn't understand, it hangs up on you. Don't bother to pick up in the first place!

Add one more to this list, rec'd call at 5:44 PM.  I was out, no message left.  Now blocked from future annoyances.

Thanks for news that it's a robo call, and from the Fraternal Order of Police. 800notes has been helpful on these nuisance calls. I didn't answer; the robo left no message; I blocked the number.

Call arrived 25 Aug 10:20 am PDT. I answered, but caller could not hear me. He said "hello" twice then hung up. It was a real person, not a robot.

CALLER ID:  CELLULAR CALL..Did not answer or no message on answering machine.. SCAM OR WHATEVER....

displayed as "out of area" on CID.  didn't bother to pick up.
