Not interested and kept faxing advertisement in spite of leaving cancellation messages in the voice mail.

Fax telemarketer.  Have attempted to cancel unwanted faxes from this sender on 3 occasions, but continue receiving faxes.

Here's the trick:

When you call the number, it asks you to press a number before you enter your fax # for deletion. But when you call a second or third time, it asks that you press a different number for deletion each time. So...in order to *really* delete your number, you have to call several times and cycle through all the variations (press 1, 2, 3, star, pound....etc.)

Time consuming, but worth it.

This number sends me unwanted faxes early in the wee hours. I've asked for my number to be removed 6 times. I've started calling the people who use the service to complain.

I have called the number for removal 3 times as instructed from one of the posters above.  I have read a ruling from the CRTC website that anytime you request to be removed from a telemarketer list... the telemarketer is suppose to provide a referral number.  I've never been able to get hold of anyone at these telemarketer offices to get one.  The last incident I called the store for whom the ad was for and they wouldn't offer any help.  I think the best thing is just negative publicity for these businesses that resort to this shallow way of advertising.  The ad was for Wet Basement (416) 253-8043.

I've called at least a dozen times and the voice message keeps telling me my number's been taken off the list... of course it hasn't been.  It's costing me a fortune in ink for my fax machine.

I've also called the number provided to remove my fax number from the list of those being harrassed.  Listed email address for the company, zchost.net, where the faxes are originating from are: promo@zchost.net and mdhost@zchost.net.

If you continue to be harassed, I suggest filing an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau:

...I have chosen to call the company who is employing this marketing firm to ask for a competitors contact information, explicitly citing my preference as a consumer to deal with companies who employ 3rd party companies who adhere to provincial/federal legislation and best practices.

Call them and leave a loooong rambling nonesense message, or just crackle paper into the phone. Fill up his answering service.

I have received faxes and followed up by phonig the "fax removal" line :
6 dates bewtween November and today- jan 4, 08.
What else or what action can I take to have them desist?

Same problem constant faxes and constantly calling to be removed have called bell to complain but it is still happening called them 10 times tonight to be removed maybe this will do it each time various #'s to press

I am receiving UNWANTED faxes from various vendors.  The "remove" number is 416-201-0704 but entering my fax number doesn't stop the faxes from coming!  The fax broadcast firm is 9273660 Ontario Ltd. and seems to be located at 142 Islington Ave. Suite 232 M8V 3B6.

Repeated faxes endlessly using up my fax paper so my reps and customers have no paper left when they try. This guy should be drawn and quartered!

Bell, CRTC, Better Business Bureau, the Police do not seem to be willing to take action.  I have retained cousel, but it is not easy. The Solution is to Fight Faxes with Faxes and give Peerless Mason a taste of their own medicine. This is what you need to do if frustrated:
- progam you Fax Machine or computer with their number 416 253 8043
- set the number of retries high (20 or so) every 4 minutes
- push the button and do it a couple of times a day
- make sure your fax will not print an error report
- It does not take time, paper or toner
THE RESULT: Peerless Mason (a.k.a Wayne Gould) will notice that:(a) his voice mail is full all the time, and (b) no business leads are generated by the aweful fax adversing conducted.
If VERY FRUSTRATED do this to the same to his alternate voice mail: 416 201 4209.
He will likely block one, two or 10 fax numbers that do that but cannot block them all (too expensive!).

-Fax Removal 416-201-0704 I have telephone them on  October 18th 2006, November 19 2006, January 16 2006,  and January 18 2006 to have my number removed.  They have not done so!!!
The should be sued or taken to the Better Business Bureau.

If you are annoyed and frustrated, ACT NOW as suggested by the SOLUTION post. If you do not, this bad man will go on forever, waiste your time, toner, ink, and trees.

The call to delete number is now not in service. I've previous called numerous times for removal but they keep coming.

To the perpetrator: Please remove our fax number 905 427-6069 from your dialup list.

I am VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY annoyed at your lack of attention to my many past requests to be removed via your normal removal number.

If I don't get removed IMMEDIATELY, next I'll pay you a visit along with my lawyer at your address: 142 Islington Avenue, Suite 232 Toronto.
CRTC action to have your phone privileges removed will also be pursued. You are currently operating your service illegally without providing a real person contact number and full company name.

If you are serious and sincere about removals you'll send back a message showing that you will do this. It's in your best interests to do so immediately.

You give fax recipients no other options other than a fax removal number on your faxed pages which you seem to ignore. SHAME ON YOU !
