got a call at 11:37 am the 4 of july, i live in province of quebec, receive it on my phone, no sound, really weird!

pre paid calling card #!, sounds native canadian [girl].

got a call from this number , creepy as usual but this time it was my mom leaving me a message, soooooo creepy!

You might notice that the number 416-210-3998 appears to be a Bell Canada
phone number. A Bell company phone number.  If you stay on the line long enough you will hear one message that say "Your call cannot e completed as dialed - Please check the number and try your call again."  A second message says, "a Person using a prepaid calling card has called your number."  Another message says, "because of technical difficulties we are unable to route your call. Call your operator."  There is a possibility that a major company like Bell Canada is trying to run up the cellphone bills of competitors, otherwise it does not make sense that someone would be randomly calling without trying to sell you something.

Just got a call from this number as well and was told someone with a prepaid calling card was calling and then the same message came on in french.  Weird, because they called my work number and then my cell number.

***HELPFUL INFO-PLEASE READ*** I called my local phone company & for the small fee of 3.75 per month I'm able to block this stupid Canadian based 416 number & any other number I want blocked. They called me 2-3 x's per day, 7 days a week. YES!! 7 days per week!  Have you noticed that these calls all started towards the end of 2007? Could some larger funded foreign company have some hidden agenda for the U.S. & Alaskans are simply a practice run for what they really have in store? Perhaps this is the start of a huge teli-scam that they're bringing forward in 2008 & right now they are simply testing their new system & ability. There has to be a point for this system they are bringing on-line. Think about it.
