They just called and as i have told them many times to stop calling, this time the man on the phone decided to start cussing at me... if anyone knows who these people are please post a number. this harassment needs to stop.

Hello everyone! My mom has received calls from this number for the past four months. They are very annoying and calling 3-4 times a week. When she advised them to stop calling because she was not interested in their services, the man threatened to call her more often. Harassment should not be tolerated!! She has called the police and they told her that this is a telemarketing scan sourced out in India where a group of men are paid to call GTA numbers. The police officer said the only thing we could do is block the number through our phone company. Bell says you can block up to 12 number for $5 a month - it's something to consider if you are repeatedily bothered by this telemarketing scam.

Our home phone number is currently on the Do Not Call National Registry List. However, it seems that these telemarketing scammers know how to override this list.

The 905 numbers ring as long distance in the GTA. The exchanges are not LD calls with in 416 or 905.
