Got a call saying its Bell's promotions department. Seeing as I'm on the Bell internal do not call list this is probably a scam. I can block the number which is impossible with Bell's own numbers, and if you look it up on Google it shows up as CraveTO.

I also just received a call from this phone #, but when I answered I got an automated "goodbye".
Googled the phone # & yes it comes up as CraveTO.  CraveTO seems to be an online business that you can buy tickets for different events in Toronto.

Just got called twice by this number.  No one on other end...after 1 min they hung up.

WOW they called again just now.  This time a guy was on the phone in a very noisy call center, said he was from Bell Canada.  He asked "how are you ma'am?"  Then the call disconnected or he just hung up.
How are these people spoofing a phone # that belongs to another business?

This number has called several times over the past few days, mostly when I happened not to be at home, leaving no message.  Tonight I answered and got dead air.  I was connected and it sounded like somebody was moving in the background, however they never responded when I said "hello" several times.  I then proceeded to hold the 5 key down until they disconnected.  Next, I blocked the number using my call block service.  I won't be hearing from them again.... until they spoof a different phone number.

keep getting calls from this number but no one there, they just hang up, i called it back and says its no longer in service wish it would stop!!!!!!!!!

claiming to be calling from "Ball Canada" (assuming they meant BELL but if one cant speak English then I have zero time to listen) and then asked what services I was using.  They got told to go reproduce themselves.

I got a call from "Sam" who had a strong south Asian accent and said he was with Bell promos and was going to offer me a great deal of $92.00 for "a long time" (what the heck is that? 3 years, 30 years??).  He wanted to know who my provider was and I said if you're really with Bell, then you know.  Said I suspected he was trying to scam me, I'm on the DNCL list and I will report him and to get a "real" job and I bet that Sam is not your real f'ing name.  Get a life!

We kept receiving calls from this number, 416-416-4164, too.

Let the authorities deal with them.

Just got another call from 416-416-4164 and there was nothing but dead air and then silicone sally says good-bye even though they never said anything to begin with.  Is the "do not call list" even working when you are on it. I wonder.

I continued to get calls from this number. Never any message, just hang up's. Now hav blocked the number!!

I got a call from them as well, in the beginning sounded  a bit estrange but I ended up  getting a good deal.

This number called me 8 times in a row within 10 minutes.  I asked to speak to a supervisor but at this point he started saying vulgar sexual things and swearing at me.  Today he called back another two times in a row.  I will be reporting this number as mentioned by someone above.

This number is a fake 416-416-416 4, they spoof the call display (it is a repetition of first 3 number).  These India call centers are pure evil.  DNCL can't do anything.  Doubt if any Canadian regulators will bother.  It is not Bell nor CraveTO.  I would think Bell would do something since the scammers are falsely saying they are from them.      

As long as Bell isn't losing money over it, I doubt it would be worthy of their time.  After all, they have 5,000,000 households to pester about why they haven't moved to FibreOp yet.

The call I received went like this, "Hi. I am John from alkida. I am a terrorist don't you know?" I replied with "no, thanks for calling" & hung up. Then I called & reported it to the police.

got a call ON MY CELL saying they have a great deal from bell canada - for $97 i'd get home phone, unlimited internet and basic cable. i told them i was already with bell and that i'm paying less than the offer he has...'oh sorry ma'am...' was his reply...i called bell and they said they have no offer on record like that and that number is not registered to their 'call centres here or abroad'.

This is horrible! The caller waited a few seconds.... I say hello hello... Nothing ... Then again then a Hangup.

Have called repeatedly over the past few days. I don't answer the phone these days, too many junk calls.
