my daughter called me on her cell from sherway gardens, food court.  This # came up on call display?!?!  she was on her own phone...so, i have no idea where this id comes from

Received a call on my call display no one there but dead air.

This number tends to call my toll free business line and just wants to play games and not order anything.

This number called this afternoon but I did not answer. Listened to voicemail, nothing but dead air. Looked up the number online, apparently it's from somewhere in Toronto (and I know no one in Canada).

Got a call from this number. No one spoke, but the call was transferred to me from another department so they must've said something at some point.

Guy called looking for a free [***] said his name is Dan.

It is my understanding that the purpose of these calls is to get you to try and call the number back.  When you do, you get hit with some kind of outrageous charge.  DO NOT CALL IT BACK!!

This is odd, I've seen this number show up from legit people on my toll free number and thought maybe that happened cause of the company i was with.
Today i have a different company for toll free number and i wanted to check my number, so i called it from my cell phone. 1st time it showed my cell number and i tried again 2 min later and it showed that 416-417-0000.

I keep getting calls from this number over and over.  they never leave a message.

Caller was yelling something about package delivery. Some Purolator [***] can't even get telephone numbers right. He left delivery notice for somebody who doesn't even live here.

Wow. They really want you to pick up the line, or call them back. 8 calls today on our toll free line, using these #s. They never leave a message.

Don't answer don't call back these morons

When you "voluntarily" submit your number to get free ring tones, or wallpaper, or anything free of the internet, it is never free! Your number is hijacked and might be used to make long distance calls. Numbers with 0000 are used as an umbrella tag to track your calling habits. Beware! Your number is part of your id!!

This is a magic jak number that people use to call and check up on your company with.

This number is the PRI trunk line for various 1-800 services. Sometimes rather than displaying the proper caller id it will display this number.

This number is not tied to any specific person or service. When you receive calls from this number it could be someone calling your 1-800 number, it could be spam, or it could be a wrong number, you have no way of knowing.

Voip services such as voip.ms will often show the wrong CID when call forwarding.
