"Unknown name" and never leaves a message

A company that sells gimmick advertising items, such as jackknivies, steak knives and a bunch of other stuff.  Bought steak knives once to give away, the name embossing was horrible, they were big and clunky and not at all attractive.  Keeps calling back wanting to know if we are ready for more.....we actually threw them all away....too embarrased to give them to anyone!

A "promotion company" that sells gimmicks, pencils, pens, etc.  They keep calling.  Rep. by name of Goergina Brooks would not take "not interested" for answer.  Pretend to know you personally.    Insistent, rude.  Will not take "NO" for an answer.

Kept asking to talk to "the big guy...you know who I'm talking about (laughs), the big boss." The rep I spoke to wouldn't give me his name (every time I asked who he was and where he was calling from, he dodged the question) and insisted he spoke to "the big guy" last fall about "ball caps and jackets for the company" and wanted to speak to our "purchaser". (For the record: I work at a non-profit organization, so we don't purchase promotional products for any reason...and all of the employees here are female, so his insistence on having spoken with a man in the fall is entirely false.) Every time I asked what he had spoken with the alleged "big guy" about, he kept saying he didn't have his notes but there was a project we were going to be working on together...finally got him off the phone after asking for the fifth time what his name was and who he was working with, which ended with him saying he would "check his notes and call back tomorrow with the details of what he and the big guy had talked about."

Really, really annoying.

they called me and asked for the boss and Iasked what it was regarding as we are a corporate company and different people handle different thinks and he told me to "Get Bent" and hung up on me!!!!!!!! [***]

Just got a call this morning from a guy at this number.  RUDE!  When asked what he was selling, he told me 'personalities' and that I needed one.  He then said he had 2 personalities, a gay man, or a transvestite from Church Street.  He had our address and said that he was sending over the transvestite.  He then swore at me and hung up.

Yeah, call quite often asking for the "big guy", regardless of who the rep is on the phone.  This time it was Jim calling from RJ.  When I said that I've asked many times to be taken off their call list, he replied that he'd never spoken to me.  Possibly true but I have spoken to this aggressive, abrasive company before, never having had pleasant experience.  Anyways, ended with him repeatedly telling me that I was confused and then he hung up on me.  I wish they would adhere to good business sense and not waste their dollars on calling us.  They don't have a hope we would buy anything from them.

They just called this morning - asking is "the boss was in".... when I asked what it was about - "he said he had a couple of questions"... then when I asked ... what about?  HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!

The guy calling is rude and will not accept no for an answer.  I called the number back and its for R&J concepts.

Even if you tell them that you are not interested in their items they keep on calling...

did not leave name or message

This number 416-483-4516 keeps calling our office even though they have repeatedly been told we are not interested in any of their gimmicks.  This is another example of the "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" not being utilized as is intended - these companies should be charged with continued and on-going harassment.

Mike Harper from R&J Concepts just called and like the posts above wanted to speak with "the big guy".  I said, no one is around as I knew right away that he was a salesman.  Asked for his cell phone and I said nope, so he said, I'll call back later tonight.

MIke harper calls me at 7 in the morning and says if I buy 1 thing then he would take me off the call list as i requested,  then calls me a cheap prick, wow I wish we could meet in person and see if the prick would still talk to my face like that.

We got a call from the "Hanger Upper" this morning too.  Nasty man!

One just called, like you say, pretends he knows you or someone there personally. And lies when asked who is calling, "Jay's Contracting" about a project. Sure! Needless to say, he did not get passed me to the 'big guy', in fact, he was talking to her!

Just got a call from a gentleman saying he was Mike Days, when i told him the person he was looking for was not in the office , he asked for a cell. When i wouldn't give the cell number out he got very rude and hung up.

Not professional at all, cant believe these guys can get business with the attitudes they have.  Said he talked to the big guy a couple months ago but I cant remember his name.  I told him I would try and put him through and left him on hold for a bit, not really in the mood to deal with these unnecessary calls today.  Unfortunately he did not hang up and when I got back on the phone he made a stupid comment about how he hadn't been held like that since his honeymoon.  I ignored him and asked if he had a message, and he said he would try back.  Unfortunately he probably will several times, as I answer the phone and he will never get through to the "big guy"

this telemarketer is the absolute low life of all scumbags . How do we get them to stop harassing and threatening us .
Pushy rude lying snake .

Got a phone call from Mike Harper.  The prick lied to me and told me that he was with Jay's Contracting.  He asked for Al, then Al Jr., and then Al Sr.  When I told him there wasn't any Al Jr., he said "whatever...then let me talk to Al Sr."  I told him Al Sr. wasn't here.  Then he demanded his cell phone number.  Cell phones don't work where we live (Thank God).  This man was as ignorant as can be!  I am sick and tired of getting phone calls from ignorant pricks!  Being an ignorant [***] and lying about who you work for isn't going to make me do business with you!  I called the number back that he called from, and a recorded message said that this phone number does not accept incoming calls.  So I came to this website to discover that it is Mike Harper with R&J Concepts.  I googled the Company name and found a phone number (416) 483-4516.  I called this number and pressed 1 for Western Canada.  A very nice lady came on the phone.  I asked her if she had a Mike Harper working for them and she replied yes.  I asked her to remove both our company phone numbers as I refused to get anymore phone calls from this [***].  She said she would make a note as to how he treated me, and kindly took my phone numbers and reassured me that our phone numbers would be taken off their list.  Will be interesting to see if the [***] calls back.  Can't wait to give him a blast if he does.  I encourage anyone who is having these issues, to call the number that I mentioned above and ask for your phone number to be removed from their list.  She was kind and helpful.
