I receive unwanted text messages from this number several times a week. Text is all garbled. Return calls to the number advise "your call can not be completed as dialed"

I recieved two texts in a row. It was all nonsense letters, upper and lowercase, and numbers and symbols mixed together. Stupid.

2 garbled text messages sent at the same time

2 TEXT MESSAGES IN A ROW WITH RANDOM LETTERS AND NUMBERS

I have gotten 4 txt messages in row several times from this number, over the course of 2 months. My phone is a 416 area code.

i got 2 texts too with the same letters.. wtf is it?

4 gibberish text messages in a row like reported by others.  All letters and numbers mixed up making no sense.

I sent replys and still got more texted random letters... WTF ???

I'm in the 780 area code and I've just received the same two messages. Both received at 16:15 on my BlackBerry and both from 416.555.2121.

I thought it might be a script of some sort to triger information send back. I have a firewall on my BlackBerry and if this continues I'm going to enable it and see if it will block these texts. Also, if enough people call their providers, a 'harrasement investigation' is conducted between your provider and your local police. I've done it before.

I found out what this is. I got the message(s) when a friend of mine tried to send me an MMS. I guess there's some sort of incompatability between either phone OSs or carriers. She's on Telus with some newer phone and I'm on Bell with a BlackBerry. In any case, that's my conclusion to these strange messages.

I get the same message too. My buddy tries to send me a picture message and I get those 2 texts a few seconds after from that same phone number (tried it multiple times). It's some sort of confusion or compatibility issue. Not sure as to why that number shows up....
