Same here..... Hopefully it's not another Collection Agency looking for 'Patricia Arsenault'. We've been dogged by calls for this woman all year. Night & day.  

I have no idea who she is.....

I got one call from this number, I don't think they left a message, so I have no idea yet

It is actually Scotia Life Financial.

I´ve just found a missed call from this number, no message left..

It's Scotia Life FInancial and when you call the numbr back to leave a message "the mail box is full"

i dont know this is but they keep phoning and not leaveing a message?

They called my fax line the other day and even though they obviously don't speak fax, they still called back. Since I pay extra to have that line as Unpublished with Bell, I don't see how Telemarketers wound up with the number in the first place. Gotta love these 'perks' with Bell, pay extra and still get your number passed around.

yet another person who assumes that CROOKS ILLEGALLY using ROBODIALERS  that call ALL  PHONE numbers in a sequence- is somehow the phone companies fault that they got your number.


ITS CALLED TECHNOLOGY - GET USED TO IT!

I get one or 2 a week........usually @ the same time jusat after dinner. The one time I did p/u the lady seemed suprised and tried to follow her script but her grasp of english was so bad it became comical. I'm believing the calls are coming out of India of behalf of any number of North American companies. They're definately not getting their rupees worth our of them......

I keep getting numerous calls from this number .. even on week-ends .. they said they were with Bell Canada and asked me about my internet service with Bell.

I told them not to call me on Sundays... what is up with that! IF they with a reputable company they should call during business hours.

I am putting  a block on this number. They have been calling my number off and on for months now.

I have blocked various versions of this number and they keep changing the number so they keep getting through to my number and voice mail. They NEVER leave a message.

The variations of this number that I have blocked so far are 416-581-8705, 416-847-8742 both of which I have sucessfully blocked.

The new number they are calling with is 416-581-8725. UGH!!  Very frustrating!!

I'm getting it too.. kind of freaking me out.. anyone know for sure why/who they are calling? i called it back and it just says scotia life financial

shibuddy, that was the same number i got.. should i be worried? if it was a telemarketer.. why would scotialine financial be calling?

I got a call from 416-581-8725 and the guy said it was scotia financial. But the caller ID didn't say scotia financial it just said the number. And when I said hello, my voice activated something so that it started ringing as if I was the one calling them. I hope I don't get an expensive long distance bill. anyways, the guy was trying to sell me some life insurance but I said no thanks because who knows if it's real or not.

I had a call today from this number, and the person represented themselves as from the Scotia Bank... And Peddling a "New Insurance Product"... I indicated no interest in Insurance and that I'm sure I have provided enough money to put me in a vase on somebody's mantel, and the female Peddler made like she was all offended... I Hung Up on Her.
I love the folks at Scotia Bank... but If this is what passes for "Marketing"... somebody in Toronto has a very questionable future with the Scotia Bank... Choosing this sort of TeleMarketing of a product that requires a lot more planning than a Yes over a phone line is plain Stupid.

if this number calls you, you probably owe them money. It's Scotia bank calling.
