Who's Calling

This is the third time this week this number has called me, there is no one there and then the line goes busy. Enough already.

The same thing keeps happening to me they wont stop calling they never leave a message and when I call back the line is busy.  I tried reverse 411 but it did not bring up anything.  I have been unable to answer the calls because its on my cell when I am working and the phone is turned off.   This started about 4 days ago and so far today they have called 5 times! Very annoying! Does anybody know who this is and how I get off the calling list.  2 years ago I put myself on the National Do Not Call List . I believe it just made things worse.

i have been getting calls from this number and tonight someone left a message singing "voicemail, voicemail, voicemail..."

Normally, I am not annoyed by these telemarketers, but this one sure smells of a##hole. What can I do to send some voltage back through the telephone line when they call again. I just got another call from them, as I was typing this up. "Your call is important to us" and then nothing.

this number keeps calling my cell up to 8 times a day.. never any messages or some chick is there who keeps asking for someone who does not own my number i have asked them to remove my number but they keep calling

The same thing here ... I am getting pissed off Rogers should be able to stop these ..

called all day and no answer. very annoying

Twice in two days, 1st at 8:59PM , then today at 12:22 Pm(local time). Both times a female recorded message "Your Call is important to us" in the same voice as what is recorded at Bell Canada's Call Answer Service. then Hangs up.

I just answered it. They called 3 times in 15 minutes. It was Canadian Debt Solutions. Told them I didn't need their services. We'll see if the keep calling.

I too have been getting multiple calls from this number a number of times a day.

Sometimes no one is there and it hangs up, sometimes I can hear breathing and then they hang up. once some one asked for a person but not in coherent english.

Anoying and a bit scarry?

I answered this call, and a voice said the dreaded phrase  "Your call is important to us."  After 10 seconds or so, it disconnected.  Returning the call got a busy signal.

These calls are really getting me mad and they keep calling everyday.  I did talk to a lady on the other end today (Dec 13) and has to do with credit card debt.  I asked were they got my phone # from and she said it was sent to them with phone # plus last name.  Then she said I sent it in to them for information on Credit card debt for 12 thousand.  I told her this is a scam call and then she got mad at me for say this to her. Then she said I could not talk to her by saying is was a scam/fraud.   I said "hello"  why would I call you if I had that kind of debt in the first place. I told her to email the information to me that I sent her.  Then said she was being recorded and she hung up on me.  These people are bad new bears.  The calls are coming from the Toronto area. And when you call them back the line is busy.   I just really really hate these calls.  They scam older people and that's not right they should be find for such things like that. Thanx folks...these guys have been calling me on a regular basis.....I am glad I didn't answer the phone.....I've been getting calls since beginning of Dec.

Very annoying.  Started again today. Every 15 minutes on my cell phone. This happened to me around this time last year too, stopped after Christmas.  Someone needs to do something about these morons.

just received a call from "Lisa" who said she was from Canadian Debt Solutions.  As soon as I told her I had no debt she hung up.  seems they are just trying to get personal information.  let's see if the calls stop now.

About 30 calls in the last two weeks - hang up after 3 rings, 'your call is important' if answered before then nothing, and yesterday finally "Lisa MacDonald" - (evidently, she does ALL the thousands of calls an hour, all by herself!) - with whom I'm afraid I went a little 'ballistic', demanding they take me off their computer, and then, just now, the very next day, co-incidentally (?)

Answered on first ring, and Lo and Behold, it was "Lisa MacDonald" AGAIN!  (I waz sooo surprised after how rude I was yesterday ;-)).  Canadian Debt Solutions (major scam of course, stay faaaar away).  So this time I was super sweet, and said,

"Oh it's great you called, I'm just investigating your company as we speak!"  

So, without a pause, she launched in to her pitch - 'do you have credit card debt, etc' and I replied,

"Nothing about which I'd like to deal with your company, but could you do me a huge favour and please talk to your manager and have your computer remove my number from the calling list?"

At which point the line went dead.  Wonderful.  I'm going to see where I can report them for harassment.  Maybe a small claims law suit.  Anyone up for a Class Action against them?

Anyway, if I can find where to report it as harassment, at least they'll lose one of their 'caller ID' numbers'.  There's probably no way to shut these folks down.  The price of our modern telecommunications age.

OK - - I called the CRTC and lodged a formal complaint against Canadian Debt Solutions.  It's a bit of a boring process - you have to give name and address, etc - but they don't release this information of course, only your telephone number (which of course the Telemarketer already has!).  I'm on the national Do Not Call list so the company has already violated the law in calling me.
Each complaint will raise the priority of the CRTC response/investigation, so if you have a couple of minutes, give them a call

I believe they are a Debt Solutions Company. Most likely you entered something on Facebook - maybe those Apple Giveaways that are scams and they got your # from there. If you talk to them, just tell them you I already have a company that is helping with my debt solutions and it has been finalized in court so stop calling. They'll leave you alone!
