This is a telemarketer from scotia bank. I asked him/her to remove my name from the list. They said they did, but called me again 2-3 months later.

I just received a call from 416-640-0651.  I have received multiple calls from that telephone number. Quite naturally i didn't pick up because it's no one from my contacts.

I received a call form 1-416-640-0651 It turns out it's a company called Optima Communication on behalf of Scotia Life Financial. I found this out by calling back the number. When I called them all i got is a answering machine so i returned the favor to them by not leaving me a message, just like they did for me.
If any of these so called legitimate companies actually left a message or even answered the phone when they call it wouldn't be that annoying.

The f*ckers have tried to call me many times too and I am the do not call list too....apparently the [***] can get away with it if their Indian offices call....anyway, I'm putting in a complaint against Scotia...

constantly getting calls from this number on the weekends and after 9;00 at night says they are calling on behalf of scotia bank wish it would stop

I have been getting called from this Number several times a day also when I answer it is blank so it is computer generated and if you stay on long enough some one picks up

I just got this phone call a few minutes ago.The man stated he was calling on behalf of scotia bank to offer me a special deal on life insurance. they wanted my birthdate so they could sell me life insurance for $23.00 a month. The man tried to insist that it was safe. After getting him off the phone. i called the scotia banks general information line, and they told me to ignore it and not to give any information over the phone. If anyone calls you from scotia bank, it will say scotia bank on the caller ID not unknown name.

Just got a call from this number. Can hear someone at the other end, but they woudn't speak, so I hung up.  Since I don't have a blocker on my phone, I saved the number, with the heading WARNING.  If this IS ScotiaBank, I am disappointed.  I also am on the DNT registry, a lot of good THAT does........sheesh.

they called me too i burped in the phone and started crying....they got the hint:)
