Caller hung up when I answered.  I think it's an automated probe.  Should be receiving a call from a live operator shortly I would imagine.  I called the number back and got a message "You have reached the customer survey line" in a male voice.  A female voice promptly kicks in and says "Exiting the system.  Goodbye".

Got a call claiming they were marketing for TD Canada Trust. Called TD and they are not aware of the survey. Asked me for my email to send survey.  I reported the number to RCMP. Likely a set up to get personal information. Do not trust.

Received call from this number for the second time in the past few days - didn't answer the first - caller hung up immediately when I answered the 2nd.  Unlike other LD calls, this one did not come in with the 1 prefix??

omg...this number keeps calling me like twice a day its so annoying and i tryied calling it back it says busy but only beeps once n hangs up...

Called today 7:18pm.  Did not leave message.  Think this board is a great idea.

I have received repeated calls from this number, twice today..9:45 and 11:45..haven't answered and don't intend to..

This number has called every night at around 9 pm for the last 3 nights.

Wow, i truly found this site facinating.  Two thumbs up to whomever put it up.  Like most of you, i just received this call at about 9:10pm, Toronto Ontario.  My mom picked up but no-one answered.  She thought she heard a women in the background.  The phone rang long distance but again there was no prefix 1 at the begining of the number.  Looked it up on Canada411 and this is when i found you all.  Wow..

I recieved the a call at 9:20PM EST. The caller id read 416-640-3489 Toronto ON. I answered and a man was on the other end. I do not remember what he was selling because I yelled at him faster then he could talk then I hung up.

got a call from this number as well at 830pm Winnipeg time. I didnt answer but they left a voice message... kinda... no talking but i heard music playing in the back ground (Because of You - Neyo lol) and a bit of typing but no message was left. i looked back at my phone log and received a call from this number on the 29th as well, someone looking to do a survey for the Cooporators (my insurance company) but I dont think my insurance company does stuff like that...

I live in Massachusetts and received 3 phone calls today from this number.  I answered twice since I was home, but because of the delay (like a telemarketer), I hung up.  They also called on Oct. 3rd (no one was home).  If they call again, I'll wait for someone to say something or hang up on me....

call every nite between6-9pm...no says anything...
when i call back it says something bout a marketing company
can't these people take the hint...not interested in what they r selling
they don't know how 2 take the word NO for an answer
i don't answer any number i don't know...solves the problem of dealing with them

Just got a call from this number 416-640-3489. A sofspoken lady said she was doing a food survey, called me by my last name. Asked for my postal code, then aske if i did the cooking in my home. I said it is my wife that cooks, then i got her and they hung up. Strange!! Some kind of fishing scam i am sure. If they call back, and i am sure they will,  i will not answer ever again. I am going to call my local police and the OPP, maybe too the RCMP.

This number has called twice in the past 2 weeks after 9:30 PM. I heard whispering and I had to say hello about 3 times before someone answered. She asked for my mom and then whispered to someone else and then I asked who it was. She said the Cooperators... then she hung up right when my mom picked up.

This number has called my house nine times in the last 12 days. A couple times we picked up and all we got was dead air.

Wow this is pretty creepy they called my house around 9:30 and all I heard was people in the background talking. This is like something from Saw or someting lol. My friend got the same caller and the same thing anyway this message board is pretty cool.

Rec'd two calls this evening....first one I picked up and hung up about a second later when there was no voice on the other end. About an hour later the same number appeared so I picked up the phone and waited about ten seconds for someone to say something, but nothing happened. I did hear, like others, sounds in the background....kind of like an office buzz or something. After the ten seconds, all I had was a dial tone.Curious........
