did not pick up ...no message left

I received a call from the same number at around 8am but did not pick up. I thought it might have been from my bank, as I have been expecting a call from them. After seeing this page, it seems like spam. Just in case though, were any of you expecting a call from your banks?

Didnt answer the phone but called back and was met with an answering machine

just got a call, did not answer. Called back, and was place on hold for the next available agent.

got a call at 7:00 in the evening. a man left a voicemail message saying he was from TCR and there was an unresolved personal matter with his company or something. he then went on to say that they had tried to call many times and that i was avoiding them. he then gave me a 1-800 number to call. this is the first time i've ever had this number call me - i haven't called back. too weird.

I have been getting calls from this number for a few weeks but I never pick up.  The last two times, an automated voice mail message was left telling me that I have an unresolved business matter and that I have been avoiding them.  There was a toll free number for me to call.  I am assuming that if it was a legitimate issue, I would have been addressed by my name on the voice mail.  I am assuming that it is a scam.

I recieved a calls from this number also today or yesterday .Who ever it is they all ways say I've been looking for you both now for a long time and I no your avoiding me and if you dont contact me there's going to be trouble an it also sounds like a recording of some guys voice but he never leave his name or who he is looking for.But on my machine he say I've been looking for the both of you for a very long time now funny thing is I'm single.So to who he is talking about ????Anyway it sounds like BS to me cause if they cant tell you there name why should you telll them yours or anything personal that there triing to get from you..

I received a message on my cell phone from this number advising me to call 1-888-725-9898 to resolve a personal business matter with them. The call was from a man who was very demanding. Sounds like a scam to me.

This number is from "total credit recovery, TCR".  It is a legitimate collection agency and they cannot leave details on an answering machine in case someone else gets the message.  However, they have some extremely rude people who work for them.  If they have left you a message it may or may not be for you.  They simply hunt for numbers listed under the name of the person they are trying to find, so they may be trying to find another person with your name.

call is from the TCR legal department about an important personal matter - call sometimes twice a day - sometimes a male voice and sometimes a female voice - I have never picked up or returned their calls.

Automatic message, person is very threating with message.  They are calling a business number and we have over 150 eomployees, I can't imagine that everyone who works for us is in collections. And they just hung up on me while I was waiting to talk with a supervisor

I received a call from 4167562361 did not pick up called back and asked my home phone number to pull up my file and see why i received this call.They were telling me the same number to call.

Same thing happend to me but telling me they were from CCR.

i got a call from this number 416-756-2361 an im debt free so it is a debt collector i phoned the number 1-888-725-9898 an asked abought the 416 nuber an thay didnt know abought it but thay are a debt collector an i have no debt but i think its for one of my friends that has my number as a refrance number so just figure out who u know that uses you as a refrence number an have them deal with there debt

After reading posts I finally found out who keeps calling from this number.  I've never answered as I thought it was a scam. Did receive a call from 888-725-9898 for the heck of it called it back.  I was put on hold and was told it was regarding an urgent legal matter.  Turns out it was regarding my son's Virgin Mobile Acct.  Told the rude and pushy guy who claimed his name was Mohammed Ali (real original!!!) that my son is an adult and doesn't live with me, however I continue to get the calls from 416-756-2361 numerous times a day, starting at 7 a.m. till 9:45 a.m.
