They just called me, claiming to be "Scotiabank" wanting to sell me insurance. I said I'd call my bank, and call them back. They insisted that I didn't need to do that. So I hung up. I called Scotiabank HO, and they confirmed that they have not tried to contact me about insurance.

They do! I block their numbers every time I get a call from one of them (they have several) and a week later I'll get a call from a new number (same company). It's so frustrating.

Family member answered the call and they claimed to be wanting to give me free 100,000 dollar accidental death/injury insurance, then went on to saying they'll provide 200,000 dollars on top of that if I want to pay twenty something dollars. Asked if I'd be interested in taking part of a 30 day trial thing, then continued to say i'd get whatever package it was in 10 days and could cancel before 15 days. So i'd have 5 days to look everything over? I don't trust it. Plus i'm 22 I shouldn't be getting a call unless I've inquired about something similar to this?
