same as above, says NG Centre in call display

Got a call from this number, saying it was my gas company and it was time to clean the furnace. Said they were in my neighbourhood and they could do it the following day (i.e. today). waiting during my allot time slot and they didn't show, so I called my gas company and they said they didn't call me, I'm not in their schedule and they don't know who called!  worrying because whovever DID call has my info.  Would really like to know if this number has called anyone else like this ...

Received call from the same number this morning Oct 1 2009 at exactly 04:06am!!! It woke me up from my sleep. I answered it and only heard a busy tone. I called the number back to give the caller a piece of my mind and it kept disconnecting after giving me a busy tone.

I did a reverse phone number lookup on the number and it said it's an unpublished Bell Land Line. The line is located somewhere on Pearl Street and University Avenue intersection close to TTC St Andrew subway station in downtown Toronto.
Is this a new scam call? I'd like to know.

Received call from this nos oct 7 at 8.29pm.first he call from 1877866880 no Bell Canada my son received from that call he talk with in English/Gujarati, after my son put phone. that guy again call from that no when i cut his call.he call me from 416-861-9381 no, and he told my brother you does't pay bill when my brother ask him what bill he said you find out.that guy herresment us

I've received several calls from this number, CLID name is IPFax.  No idea who the company is, busy or ring no answer on call back.  argh/

I have been recieving calls from this number. They hung up in a couple of seconds when I answered it the first time and then they called twice again on different dates in between 12.15 to 12.30 pm. No idea what this is about.

Just a guess - Could be someone collecting our information through the internet and then trying ot call and trick into scam??!!??

I'D RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, THE MAN SAID ,THAT I'D LOST MY WALLET, AND AFTER I PROMISED TO CALL TO POLICE , BECAUSE IT'S NOT FIRST TIME, HE HUNG UP

Someone left a 7 second nonsense message on my voicemail from this number. Sounds like someone playing pranks.

People have been complaining on this forum - myself included - but I am yet to see any response from the administrators of this website. What exactly is this site for? just for us to pour out our frustrations. I gave precise description of the location of this phone - see my comment (very angry and mad) dated Oct 1 2009. I have also snet a note using the contact us link above but have not yet recieved any response.

Received a call from 416-861-9381 from a company the caller claimed was called "North American Business Directory" he said he was calling from the cancellation department, and that we spoke back in August.   I immediately said i don't know who they are, and have not spoken to them before.  I hung up.  I get these calls ALL THE TIME, from phony "directory" companies.  If someone calls you claiming that they're calling to cancel your membership, it's a scam, just hang up!  
Also a note to "very angry and mad"...i believe this site is a forum to make everyone aware of these type of fraudulent companies. I thought i was the only one receiving these type of calls, until i found this site! Please report these type of harrasing calls to the RCMP, FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and Phone Busters!

Got a call from 416-861-9381 claimed it was Bell Canada calling regarding our satellite service.  This is a scam artist.  Have reported this to Bell.

got a call from this number at my work and just made clearing throat noises and hung up...when called back as I deal with students in distress, just a busy signal

I wonder how can one block this number because it makes u mad. The caller id is "none'.

Just got a call from this number, said they're XXX wireless company and doing a promotion which offering free cell phone and some other monthly plan package.

Told them genteelly not interested at all, but still keep asking me questions...

Finally hang up.
