i get this number calling me all the time. They never leave a message except for once about a week ago and in the message it sounded like the lady was talking to her partner while on my machine and alot of breathing in the phone.

I deal with Scotiabank too. I didn't answer. If the display says "unknown caller", I won't answer. It's crazy. They always call at dinner time so forget them.
On occasion when I did not have my phone with caller ID, they start their speech and I try to interject but they keep talking. So, I lay the phone down and go back a few minutes later or I will hang around and play on my computer. I can hear them go on & on & on & on. Then, "Hello, are you there?" They sometimes ask a few times. On guy asked 4 or 5 times then asked if he couls sign me up.
Good thing I don't have a cell.

this is not the first time they call me. already told them i am not interested!!! stop calling me dammit.

I deal with Scotia so it's not a violation of DNC for me, but it sure is annoying.  I've asked them to stop calling a number of times (by calling back and leaving a message -- no one ever talks when I answer!).  Calls stop for a few months but they're always back to their old tricks before long.

I have answered a number of times. They ask for my partner and when I say he is not here they tell me it is a courtesy call from Scotiabank, which is his bank....DNC rules do not apply if you are their customer. They have always politely say they will call at a better time.
