left message with 800 call back number

Very rude!!!! He threatens that the person he is calling for is in very big trouble. He will not give is name and asks suspicious when you ask for a message to give to the person he is calling for. He badgers the caller for your name!!! I hung up, and he called back 5 more times in a row with same caller id #!!!! Then calls back with "out of area" caller ID.

yikes, just missed a call from him! first of many to come, i'm assuming. thanks for the warning, now i know what to expect and i can stop it early. luckily the only number he seems to have is my infrequently used cell phone.

this guy is horrible.  collection agency call.  harrassing, beligerent, insulting, persistant.

Funny that everyone is pretty much saying the same thing as I was going to write.  Buddy told me that if I didn't pay off my debt in full, I would face jail time and have my children taken from me.

These are calling me for the last four months. These guys told me about MBNA bank card, City Bank Card, and Lastly Canadian Tires card. What they are trying is to collect some personal Data. Let us report them to RCMP and Anit-corruption commission for civil wrong doing and harrassing people.

There is a guy who calls his name is Bobby from MGM Collections, and is a different person every time, but what they do is ask you if you are So and So... and once you say yes they say hold on... and send you to the next person who is rude and persistent on collecting for a Canadian Tire Master Card owing them $18 000. This is the part i find funny cause i tell them i have no such card and she just downright calls me a lair and wants to get my date of birth, i told her she is rude and doesn't know how to speak to people and until then i would not speak to her... its been the same woman I've spoken to for the last month...

I agree with Neel Komal we should contact RCMP for this non sense... that being said they want to get all the information on you so they can commit fraud in your name, with all your details. So best thing to do is not get angry but while they talk to you hang up on them... this will make them angry  and repeat till they stop... no need to get angry at them that will only raise your blood pressure :)

Chap from this number calls suggesting he is from collection agency regarding my account with American Express
I never had an account with American Express. This is clearly an attempt to learn more of my details.
Contacted AT&T in an attempt to have calls from this number blocked. Told it would be part of there service at a $29 monthly charge.
Who says crime does not pay!

this number is calling me at home and does not want to say from which company he is from. Very rude and impolite.

I received a call- I have a cc payment that was in dispute and they told me they were sending me to a collection agency so when they called from this # today I spoke with someone and gave them all my info.......as far as expenses, verified address and bday, etc.........
he was a total jerk and kept talking over me -tried to get me to access a credit card that I had not activated to pay off this other disputed debt - I told him he was way off base and hung up on him - is there any way to stop this guy from calling or is it time to get a lawyer?

Called at work by these people. Connection was not good, but tried to tell me I owed $6000.00 from years ago to Radio Shack. Seems strange as my credit report was clear a year ago?
The charges were done on a similar name to mine but not mine proper.
Told them not to call me at work again and I wasn't paying for something I didn't charge even if they have my s.i.n. which seems to be too easy for people to get these days

I think these numbers may be related as I've had hang up's and if you are so and so please call XXXXXX. I am not returning the calls because I am not "so and so" and I'm tired of telling these fools they have the incorrect phone number.

My strategy? Power to 'em. They can call over and over and over and over. I have caller ID so if I don't recognize their number I simply won't answer. No skin off my nose!

You should NEVER give out personal information to unsolicited callers!  That is how identity theft happens.

Weird call; she sounds like a teenager and says her name is Sarah (but doesn't mention any company name), asks for someone by name, saying "it's a personal matter". When I ask if it's sales/telemarketing, she says no (and re-states the 'personal matter' part of the script, to which i say "is this a collections call?" just to hear her tell me it's a personal matter for a third time). She again states who she's looking for, I intimate that I may know this person. She either doesn't notice or doesn't really care, because she says "obviously, you can't help me" and hangs up! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA - serves you right for calling me! I don't think she was expecting all the questions, but hey, if you're calling my number I want to know why! Now go get a real job, you bottom-feeding wretch!

Got a call from this number on my cell.  prior too this my home land line was called yet that listed the number "Out of Area"  Message on land line; "I have important business matter",  message on Cell; I have wonderful news to tell you".  
Person was not rude but attempted to sound as if they were of some superior status authority.

Someone with this number keeps calling.  I googled it to find out who it might be.  I do not have any debt, so it couldn't be a debt collector for me.

Got a call from this ID on my husband cell. the badly was someone (cannot remember the guy s name) told me our company got big problem......my husband not in country .so  i just want to know who is him and which company is he from...but he refused to tell me ..and told me that is by law with out my husband permit......ridiculous!!! I just want to the company;s name .....He just keeping talking ...i cannot talk...and I hung up.I check this number on Google got your guys report...understand what happened.  He try to call me couple times  and then I told him if he keep calling, i will call 911....Finally i got peace again.....
