Why would canada post use this number to call me, I recieved a call saying that i had a package to be delivered to a different address then my own and was told that it is a cell phone from bell mobitlity, but when i called bell they didnt have an order in my name. plus the package was never delivered? any one have an idea for me?

woman caller said they had a package to be delivered to a relative, and knew all kinds of info about me.  If this in fact an agency trying to find out information how can they lie about who they are and use this number.. something should be done. really giving Distributel a bad name...

a call saying we have a delivery and knew our info for my sister in law and us,sent by our mother-in law my mother in law who lives elsewhere also got a call saying we sent her something as well. no one sent anything to anyone as we called each other about it....happened minutes ago

Caller id'd himself as Donald Bennett.  Refused to pay employee for months salary after company gone out of business.  A scam.  Forcing lawsuit and forcing former employee to go to M. o L.

A caller from called different family members and friends saying my personal vehicle was financed and was going to be repoe'd.another time stating they needed an address to send a parcelto.  Not at all true but nevertheless disturbing. Now you have to explain all kinds of B.S. to people explaining what may be going on !

I had the same thing happen here and they called my 82 year old mother doing the exact same things, I am fed up with this and I have turned the number over along with my phone records to the local RCMP office it is considered harassment and everyone else should do the same thing maybe then this will stop!!

I've gotten the same calls saying I have a package and I call Fed Ex and they dont know anything about it and it never arrives I also got one last night saying they are calling the cops on me for harrassment b/c someone in my home is calling and harrassing this "escort service" they know where I live and my name my fiance calls them back to tell them to stop calling but they wont give up

The caller said she was from "Canada Post" and there were Christmas gifts to be sent here for all of my family. They had the names of "all" my family & I turned around & gave her my sons address & phone number because she said this gift was valued at over $70 & he had to sign for it himself.
I am appalled at the sneakyness of this & using a Govt agency should be illegal.

I had a message from "Fern with Courier" telling me I had a package and to contact them to set-up a delivery time.  They left me a 1-800 number to call back to make the necessary arrangements, when I called the number they gave me it was dead air then a busy signal.

said there was a package to be sent to my house but someone there said I

I do not know who this phone call is from and I do not want to recieve these calls anymore.

I was at my Mother's place yesterday and they called from this 416-969-5000 number and said they were from Canada Post. I did not provide any information as nobody else should.

Called twice at 12:30 am!!! Didn't get the call the first time, picked up the second time. I could hear someone talking but nobody answered or seemed to hear me when I talked. Hung up. Will have this number blocked if they call again.

last night got a call that was blocked. a girl on the phone said she was from mtv and i won a contest. i tried to call *69 and see who it was but it wouldnt work. then i got a call today from this number and when i called back it gave me dead air.

got that call 5 times last night betwen 7 till 1245...missed all calls and called back to dead line.... wow this is pissing me off

This is a phish from a collection agency.  They are seeking information on where to ship a package, likely registered mail invoking legal action.

Actually received charges on my Bell phone bill today!!! Bogus as no one in the house called it! Called Bell, after at least 30 minutes on phone to INDIA....they were able to resolve situation and took off charges!! But how bad is it that when you call Bell CANADA...you get India!!! What's up with that!!  Make sure you have patience...but problem will be resolved!!

I missed a few payments on a laptop which came from Easyhome. I get a call from this number the day after my birthday after they called my best friend to say that it's Canada Post, they have a birthday package for me and need my phone #. Once they called me, they needed to verify my address and I stupidly told them, and a day later, easyhome came to my door asking for the computer back(which was in the repair shop). When I mentioned how I had a disturbing phone call the day before from an impostor claiming to be Canada Post, they said it was against the law to use fraud to locate someone. I assured them I was aware and so was the local police dept. Its really scary to recieve a call like that asking when i would be home ot recieve the package and to find out its a scam...to be waiting for someone to show up with just me and my daughter at home who just lied to see where i live.
