Caller repeatedly calls and hangs up when I answer. Just learned from AT&T that they are receiving a moderate incidence of spam calls from this number.

CID was the letter V followed by 13 numbers. Obviously a scammer. Blocked their number.

Yup, the V-string is the signature of the V-dialer used by a lot of the phone spamming/scamming outfits. It includes the day and month you were called, the time in 24hr time to the hundredth of a minute, and a serial number showing what call number you were in the current calling sequence.

I answered this call from this telephone number.  A woman stated they have sent several notices regarding my vehicle warranty expiring but they have not heard from me.  (For one, I have not received anything about my vehicle warranty.)   She wanted me to renew with her really persistant that I renew however once I stated I bought an extended warranty through the dealership she instantly hung up.  My caller Id came up saying Final Notice!  
I hope everyone remembers not to provide any personal information, passwords, or credit card, checking account information to anyone!  As how they new the year and type of vehicle I drove still has me questioning how they had that info but I didn't give them anything more to work with.

Please just stop calling, not interested....

No one here is calling you.  Call blocker is your best bet.

New my name. Must have got it from Mo Dept of motor vehicles . Don't you just love our state and our phone providers for taking our money....now our time !

Called 9/3 left no message. Caller ID says FINAL NOTICE 1-417-319-1833. Junk caller.

Also comes in under 417-319-1925. VEHICLE SVC. Boiler room noise in the background.

Final notice it says.  I was just silent; did not say anything.  Finally hung up.  Do something to these scammers!!!!!  They prey on honest people!!!!

Caller says they are from the IRS and this is our final notice about what (they never do say) and that they'll have us arrested if we don't answer! Absolutely ridiculous! SHUT THESE PEOPLE DOWN THEYRE DISGUSTING SCAMMERS! I wonder how many people they've tried to scare with these "irs" calls.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Offered extended warranty on car I have owned for 5 1/2 years, stating that the warranty was about to expire. The warranty expired at 3 years, actually. After a brief survey on the condition of my car and mileage, they "approved" my car for their extended warranty. Then gave a price of $230 up front with payments of $129 per month for 18 months to cover car for repairs for 4 more years. When I asked for email, or a mailer with specific details they said they could not provide because they had sent notices in the mail before that I did not respond to. I asked for a callback number twice and was told no, that I needed to give them my credit card number now or else my car warranty would expire and then they wouldn't be able to make the offer again. When I balked again, he offered an even lower rate of $79 per month for 18 months with $200 up front. "Just give me your credit card number and we can get this started."  I told him we had no deal since I could not see a contract ahead of time or call back later, over his pleas to take care of it right now.

This number keeps calling me even in the middle of the night. These people need to be caught before they call an old person such as my mother and take them for all they are worth.

this caller said they are calling about a vehicle recall and wanted the VIN # and other info on a vehicle that I do not own. She knew my name and address but had the wrong vehicle.  They have tried this several times and I ask them to stop calling me and then they hang up on me. When I tried to call it back it just gives me a beeping signal. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!  I will never give my personal info over the phone!!!

This caller was insistent on me renewing the warranty on my car; tried to make it sound that it was required.  When I specifically tried to pin them down as to who they were and finally got them to admit they weren't related to Dodge, I told them to remove me from their list, but before I was finished, they hung up.
