Just called today. Three rings and then nothing: didn't even wait for answering machine to pick up, which is suspicious behavior in itself, these days. A search on the web indicates this number has been used for the "Card Services" scam.

    Further web searching reveals more...

I mistyped above: the caller ID said "Qall Cord". And there is indeed a company in existence that goes by that name. From the web search:

"Best Solution For Your Telephony Needs .... - Home, VoIP, telemarketing, Voice Broadcasting, IP phones, Dialer, Robo Call, IVR, Call center, VICI dialer, PBX Services. www.qallcordtelecom.com"

so-called card services who have nothing better to do.

Keep getting these calls from credit card services.  Continue to press 3 to be taken off list and verbally telling them to take off list.  All to no avail.

By pressing 3 to "be taken off the list," all you are doing is telling these scofflaws two things:

    1. That your number is a valid one AND
    2. That the telephone at that number is answered by a human who can follow verbal directions.

In other words, you're validating your number so that they can sell it to other telemarketers at a premium price, because they only want to call numbers where there's a human who can be scammed on the other end.

My recommendation: Don't press 3. Just hang up.

Tell them yes, you owe a ton of money but have cut up your card. Then ask if they can use the number from your statement. They'll say yes, so put down the receiver and go watch tv for a half hour or so. This works for me after the second or third time.

I have been on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY for years.  I updated this about a year ago and I'm getting more annoying telemarketing calls than ever.  I called the FTC and spoke to an agent to register a complaint because DNC is doing noting.  The agent wanted all my information which I refused because they state "it will be shared".  No privacy there.  When I referred to DNC as being part of the FTC, the agent said they weren't - that they just referred people to DNC.  How convoluted is that when it says right on the DNC website that they are the FTC.  Leave it to the Feds.
It seems that the only solution is to get rid of all your telephones.

    Dear Sir,
we have received a complaint about this number and its activity today, so we had checked our switches and database. We do not have such number registered with our services. Also when our customers register with our services, we urged them to compile with the FCC rules and further not to use our services for telemarketing    unless they are calling under a legal frame. There are also other numbers that raised our concern, however they are not registered with us as well. These numbers are:
    4178002325
    4178002357
    4178387002
    4178002309
Also if you had more concerns please send your complain to this email: complaints@qallcord.com and we will look into the problem right away.

I received yet another robo-call, this time identifying the caller as Qall Cord, but the message was the same "card services" telemarketing call. It's frustrating to continue to get these calls when I have registered with with the national Do Not Call registry. Thank goodness for caller id.

If I make it to the phone and hear that frakking cheery, "Hi it's Rachael from Card Services......"
I press 1 and as soon as the, "agent", answers I blow an emergency whistle I have that will deafen you.

I've gotten somewhat fewer calls from them. It was EVERY DAY and sometimes twice a day till I started doing this. An Air Horn is a great Idea too.

It disgusts me that the FCC or the Washington State Attorney General doesn't do anything about these crooks. I think someone's palm is being greased.
Slimy, worthless, wast of flesh, bunch of greedy crooks!!!

The FCC says that all robocalls are illegal and if you get one of them you should not respond in anyway since if you do respond you are telling them that your number is active and you will pick up the phone. You should then report them to the FCC by either calling them at 888-382-1222 or file your complaint on line at:
