417-875-6007 is an ATT agent number. Most likely calling about your DSL and phone service. I would assume you have ATT services as they do not do "cold calls", they only update records of active accounts that I know of

Hung up on answering machine.

We got a call from this number and the man was a gentleman.  Asked about our AT&T services and wanted to know if there was anything he could do to help our business be more profitable.  I am so sceptical about callers asking about any of our equipment because scammers are everywhere.  Even reputable companies have salespersons that will do anything for a sale and end up trying to get money out of us when we didn't ask for the products.  I called the number back after hanging up and got a recording that said; " Thank you for calling AT&T, there is no one available to take your call, please leave your name and phone number including the area code and someone will return your call."  Right.  I recorded my message machine to say that I'm superwoman and will come and save them, no need for 911.  I will watch our phone bill closely for slamming.

OK TO ANSWER, THEY NORMALY JUST DO FOLLOW UP CALLS.  I had changed my calling plan and the next day they followed up for more info.

Called our office but did not successfully navigate our IVR. Caller ID said "PROTEL SYST SUP" <4178756007>

3 calls today.  3 calls yesterday.  2 calls Tues.  3 calls on Mon.  THIS IS HARASSMENT!

Keeps calling our office, but hangs up before they navigate our IVR. A quick Google shows this to likely be Protel Systems -- not AT&T -- see http://www.protelco.net/homepage.htm

Still making those calls -- got one again this AM with no message left. Caller ID says "PROTEL SYST SUP" and lists the phone number.

I switched service to at&t, this was just a follow up call. No need to sound the scam/spam alarm.

Me, got a call today from that number. They didn't leave a message tho..

I didn't buy AT&T services so I could get more sales calls from them. The guy wanted to let me know about all their services. Lemme guess, you guys have phone, internet and maybe tv. That's fantastic. I bet my boss would love to pay me to watch tv all day right. If the phone quits working, I'll call you, stop beating me up for more money. Since I spend money with AT&T, why don't these clowns pay it forward by coming in my store and buying something from me? Really wtf? I sell toilet paper, I know you eat, I know you poop, do you not wipe with anything? Leave me alone, I have issues.

AT&T called my office. They want to add more services to our AT&T account... We do not use AT&T!

I am the same bob as above. Exactly 3 months to the day, I get a call from them about upgrades to the service. I just told her, "later with that crap" and hung up. It's really AT&T but they are the worst for trying to sell you more.
