Telemarketer, a "Qwest affiliate" trying to get me back with Qwest phone service.

Guy said he was from "Protel"? Wanted our I.T guy. Didn't want to leave a voicemail so he'll probably keep callling over and over.

Qwest calling yet again.  They call almost every week and ask us the same question.  Extremely annoying.

Ask for the office manager, I told the caller we do not have an office manager and what are they calling about? She said she was with Century link and was suppose to tell us when they get in the fiber something or other. I know they were never suppose to call about anythiing, and that she was trying to get her foot in the door. I really dont like realationships to start off with a lie, so this will be catagorized as a reject.

CenturyLink / Qwest wanting to sign you up for their services. When I asked to be removed from their call list he advised that he would just mark me down for another call in a couple of months. LoL! When I advised I did not want that and wanted to be fully removed from their list he advised they were just trying to "show their love" for me by keeping me in their thoughts! LoL! Finally after some arguing, and advising that instead of "showing love" he was only showing me why I would never use CenturyLink / Qwest he said he would remove me off their list. Guess we will see if they did or not.

The above posts are reassuring because by the looks of things some of these telemarketers never change their phone number. This is good because we've finally updated our blocklist to include this phone number (enough is enough)!

Anyways about the call details: we received yet again another call from CenturyLink about their new fiber-optics internet service. If they're not pestering us about their fiber internet then they are also trying to convince us to switch our telecom provider. I've been telling these people that we are happy with our reliable business class internet and that we're in a contract with our telecom. This little fact does not register with them. They've promised me to remove our number from their call list but it never happens. Over the course of the last 3 years we've steadily seen an increase in calls coming from them. It's come to the point now that on some months we'll get 3 calls from them in a month. Unacceptable!

If you have a NEC Univerge PBX here's a tip on how to block calls: Go to System Data> Access 13-04 Menu. Add the spam phone number.  Under "Transfer Mode" set it to "Internal Dial" and under "Destination Number" add a non-existant/inactive phone extension. Save/Apply. Now when this number calls your organization the system will automatically transfer them to the non-existent phone ext. and thus disconnect the call. Good riddance.

They Called My Work, too. I wonder if they're not a "CenturyLink wholesaler" I get a lot of those companies calling.

Morons, they keep calling me to sell my fiber service, but no fiber in my naighborhood.

OMGGGGGGGGGG, first they call and ask for a lady that RETIRED 7 years ago (I told them this last time), then they try to get us to sign up to Century Link.... idiots, we're already Century Link customers, we switched to them a year ago!! My IT lady said Century Link probably works with a 3rd party telemarketing firm but they need to identify their current customers and stop cold calling them!!

Called our office and said he was following up fiber and phone from this time last year. I told him we are not interested and asked to be removed from his list. He told me it wasn't a list call and it was a follow up from this time last year, something about a Comcast contract. I reiterated that we are not interested and he told me he would call back and speak with someone else and then hung up. I called Brian back and informed him that I am the business owner, we are not interested, and we do not wish to receive future calls.

a company called Protel trying to sell contracts for Century Link. FYI, go to century link website and get it for cheaper and no contracts! They are just the middle man and they charge you for their commission! Dont fall for it!
