When I answered, the guy said he was from Microsoft. He said that my computer was having a problem so he asked me to open my computer so he could resolve the problem. Since I suspected something wrong, I said that I didn't have the time to do it at the moment. I asked him to send me, by email,  the instructions and I would follow them. He hung up on me without a word!

I got the same call,he said his name was Edward from Microsoft..did you report him?..told him I didn't have a PC,he hung up on me.

A person named Edward from Microsoft called me ..I suspect he is a fraud,he hung up on me when I got suspicious!!

He said his name was Jesse White.Told me I had a major problem with my computer and that he was calling from microsoft.I said my computer was fine,he said it was not so I told him to call be back.This is a fraud,He had an accent from india and a name from Breaking Bad.Scam scam scam beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lady called my wife too saying the same thing

I've been receiving calls from this number weekly. Told him I did not own a PC

I live in Longueuil Same phone call this morning from an Indian sounding lady. I told her I had an Apple computer and said goodbye.

Got a call this morning saying my computer had  a virus and he could help me clear it.  I just said no way.

Just received a call from 418-661-3144 is name:  Kevin.
I called this local number... is'nt in service.
They are very smart...
Don't loose your time with that type of call.

Just got a call from this number, sounded like from Pakistan. Told him give me your number so I can call you back and he started swearing at me and called me bad names. Told him I would call the police. I googled this phone number and it belongs to a company in Quebec. How could they have the same number?

Was wakened with a call from this number early this morning.  He used my last name (which is why I went on listening) and went on with a bunch of jibberish, then hung up.  Unsettling to say the least.

Actually if you try to call back (I'm a quebecois), the number has been disconnected, so this  Jean-Guy Ménard lawyer has changed office.

See, it's very easy to spoof your phone number, if you subscribe to a third party landline provider or some internet providers who still use a separate device for VoIP phone and not have it all inside the modem, those VoIP boxes can be accessed like a router from your computer and you can change all what appears on other's people screen, name, phone number etc. I'm subscribed to voip.ms and that's how it works, because I want internet and a landline but not cable tv, so I use a small internet company (which is better than the big ones) and they only offer internet and telephone, but their phone service is too expensive. voip.ms is like 40 dollars a year, depending on how much you use the landline (not making publicity for them, there are many other as good companies that offer landline service for extremely cheap). They send you a device called an ATA converter, you plug it to your modem's router and plug your phone to that device and voila. By default your real info willl be there but those companies do not care if you change your phone and name info....that's how these...rats get to do their pranking.

Just get the call... same exact time a gue with indian accent telling me he was calling from microsoft and that my computer hat a problem...   I started to laught and he became all "very serious" Madame, this is not a trick it is really important, please open your computer, I'll help you, I am calling from Windows...

Receive a call from this number this morning.  10 seconds with an an Arab speaking.  After 10 seconds, he hangs up without anything more.  418-661-3144 is a nonexistent issue.

je suis québecoise et comme javais réellement des problemes d'ordinateur je l'ai laisser faire...il a eu acces a mon ordi et la maintenant il ma tout bloquer me laissant ainsi qu'une petite fenetre qui demande un mot de passe...y a t'il une solution pour que je récupere ems chose de mon ordinateur car moi je me suis fait avoir et pourtant je tassure que je suis pas naive...jai toujours contré ses choses la mais pour une fois dans ma vie je me suis fait avoir....

418-661-3144 j'ai ce téléphone tout les matins depuis quelque jours, il me réveille, j'ai regarder sur internet et ce numéro est au nom d'un avocat, j'ai essayé de téléphoner mais c'est un message enregistrer. ATTENTION UNE GROSSE ARNAQUE NOUS ATTEND........................... JE VAIS LE DÉCLARER A LA POLICE.

He keeps calling. They are fraud

They keep calling me, I saw there number and did not answer. Tried to call them back. And it says there is so service at that number

Same thing here... they called multiple times in the last month.
Played with them for a while saying I could not find my Windows key and after a while I said FU and hang up.
Blocked that number from calling on my Panasonic phone
