she calls 5pm. wants to sell me an extended warranty on 2009 lexus RX350. I politely say "not interested",
she wants to know why I'm not interested. I wish I had said it's none of your f***ing business.
Instead I say because we bought an extended warranty when we bought the car, you would know that if you weren't so stupid; she says "you are". So I hang up.

another call 11am today. Same routine as before. I wish I had recognized the number.

Called twice today around 5-6 pm, no answer first time and didn't leave a msg on second call.

Please stop calling.

Asked if we still owned a vehicle that was sold a year ago. I had previously asked them not to call back. Wanted to know today what kind of car I own! Told him it wasn't any of their concern to please take our name/ number off calling list.

Got the same call, took them it was traded a year ago.  Wanted to know what we had now, I named a model she wanted to know info I told I did not have that info.

I called back, blocking MY number, and got a recording saying to call back during their office hours, PACIFIC TIME!  Now, isn't it funny that a Western company is calling from a Tennessee area code.  Such B.S.  I have a feeling if I didn't block my number, someone would have answered, but there's no way I was going to have them get my number.

Same as above complaints. Tried to sell car warranty.  Said they didn't have to check the do not call list because Obama did away with it.  

Said they were from the department of driver safety. I questioned him and told them to forget this and hung up

I have received multiple calls from this number starting in September 2013. Most calls are ended on their end when I answer. Once I was asked by a foreign (seemingly) caller for a family member, well almost, they had the name slightly incorrect. I told them the family member was unavailable and asked them not to call again. The caller replied they would call back at a later time and hung up! Really? I have received approximately 5 further calls with Kingsport, TN ID. I tried returning the call and received a message asking me to call back between 7 am - 4 pm Mon - Fri Pacific Time. I had NO idea Tennessee operated on Pacific Time. <Sarcasm.> I recently received another hang up on Saturday afternoon - I returned the call multiple times with no answer other than the message stating their office is currently closed. I haven't heard anything about cars, warranties, questions about cars we formerly or currently own, or do not call lists - nothing - simply harassment IMO.

Received a call from someone OBVIOUSLY in India, but that's weird because, this is my local area code. He said, "I am calling in regards to your 2007 F-150 Ford and its warranty. What's the mileage on it?" I told him and he said "it's just out of range for our warranty, but I will let you talk to my supervisor." I said no thanks and hung up.

Why is that weird at all?  It's been going on for at long time, and was described at least about 10 years ago in this article:

Aside from that, it can cost as little as a dollar a month to get a legitimate phone number with an area code anywhere in the U.S. or most of Canada these days.  Once you get one of these numbers, you can then set your phone up anywhere you want in the world with Internet access to let you use your local area code (or any other that you had selected) from anywhere in the world.  How do you think "take your adapter with you" services like Vonage or magicJack work?  Or, for that matter, your own cell phone while you are driving or even overseas?

So I don't see it as any big deal that you can't trust area codes to tell you where a caller is.  It's just a fact of life these days.

This is so irritating and the Do Not Call registry is a joke.
