This company calls, the people have accents from outside US, and they claim to be a law firm, collecting a debt, beware!!!!!!!!!!!

This so called law firm with a lawyer by the name of Mark Peters just called my job..Are you kidding me. When calling back was told person busy not available and would callback..Harrassing and rude foreign accents and can not get any answers but calling my job stating I'm going to jail today

I just got the same call! Is it a scam?

got a call at my job saying it was a family emergency ,then it was legal ,claiming I gota loan and they were charging theft . after calling they kept hanging up after I said I wanted info and would get a lawyer. I keep calling back and get a busy signal. Is this a scam/

Called my cell phone when I didn't answer they called my office and climed to be lawyer collecting a loan, I don't have any outstanding loans. The woman was very rude. I was almost victim of a loan scam a few months ago. They had the same accent. Could be related?

Called back and the woman answered  she was very rude and told me it was a lawyers office and read me a whole thing about how I'm beng brought up on federal baking fraud charges and check fraud charges, etc. and that if I didn't take care of the problem right now they would be sending authorities to my work to arrest me and I would be taking a trip "down town" (Litterally her words) She became very agitated when I started asking specific questions and started yelling at me. I told her that it was a scam, that I didn't owe anyone money and I'm not buying into it. She started yelling even more and I hung up on her. If they call my work agin there will be problems.

I'm going to contact The Attorney General and file a complaint

I just got a call, from this number, 423 375 2465, saying an attorny, been calling my cell then called my work, he said his name is Calvin Harris, when I told him I was at work, and can't talk, he said to call back with in 2 hours  or i would be picked up by the police, here or at my house.. it was a debt I owed... don't know what he was talking about... how did they find out where i work?  He said to only ask for him...I guess if he calls again, I'll call his bluff... are they just trying to get people to pay them money, scam?

After I told the woman that I knew it was a scam and hung up on her. She called my cell phone 4 times in a 3 minute period, and then called my office, and then started on my cell phone again. She never left a message on either phone. The calls started again at 8:00 this morning. I'm filing a complaint today. This is ridiculous!

I just got the call too  from 473-375-2465 to y work phone!!!! and they say they are from Robert's Law Office in Bristol, TN. On the caller ID the call came from Benton, TN.    He said his name was Tim Carson, but had a very strong accent. They are stating that I am being sued  but they do not have an account number or exact date or answers of why I have not received any type of notification if I was being sued until now.

I also asked him what the purpose of the call was and he asked me "What do you want me to do for you?" Are you kidding me!!!! I told him he called me!!!!

I got the same call yesterday but the person who call me her name was april. She couldnt answer any of the questions that i have for her. She told me that i owed a loan of 389.84 to a loan company. That i have never heard and she almost got me to paying it but after reading all of the other post i will not be paying them anything. She was very rude and kept yelling at me because i was. Trying to understand how did i get a lawsuit against me and check fraud.

If you tried to get a payday loan or a no credit check loan online that's how they got your numbers. Beware! Unless you've seen an ad on tv or you know the lender personally, do not put your info out there. These people called me and my wife saying it's time sensitive and I need to call right away. I already know most of the [***] voices by now as much as they call. I know it's the same exact people who called a few days ago saying I was approved for a $20k loan and when I said I wasn't interested these calls started coming in.

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY SAYING THAT HIS NAME WAS MARK, AND THAT I WAS BEING SUED FOR A LOAN THAT I NEVER HAD.. I HAVE HAD SOMEONE THAT CALLED A FEW MONTHS AGO AND I DID END UP PAYING THEM $1700.00. I HAD TO GET AN ATTORNEY INVOLVED AND THEY EVEN SENT OVER FAKE COURT DOCUMENTS THAT HAD A JUDGES FORGED SIGNATURE ON IT. SO NOW NOT ONLY DO I HAVE THE ATTORNEYS INVOLVED BUT I ALSO HAVE THE US MARSHALLS AND THE FBI... THESE PEOPLE NEED TO STOP

I applied online for a payday loan online several weeks ago, however when I saw how high the interest rate was I did not accept the funds. I received a phone call tell me that I am being sued for criminal fraud and the woman claimed that the funds were deposited into may account, but that is not true. I have bank records proving this to be untrue. She told me that her law firm had been contacted by trying to contact me by email which is also untrue. I never received anything via email or in the mail from her company. She even told me that I will be arrested morning and that she was reporting me to the authorities. Apparently, the law suite is in the amount of $9000.00, which is ridiculous. When I told her that I would be contacting a lawyer hung up. I called back to and got her information, she claimed that her name was April Turner (with a heavy Indian accent). She also stated that she works for Roberts Legal Associates.
