423-535-9612 Keeps calling my office in Colorado, stating they are with the local yellow pages. Which is stupid, since 423 area code is Johnson City, TN. I then ask which of the two local yellow pages and they say again, the local yellow pages. They want to update my free listing and don't let me get in a word at all. They ask for my secondary line, as well as my fax and so forth. I keep saying I have none. Caller ID picks up this number but sometimes they call from an "unknown name, unknown number". They call constantly, I think I pissed them off.

People from 423-535-9612 call me several times a week for weeks then it stops only to start again in a few months. They say they are from the local yellow pages and if you stay with them through the whole spiel they will put another person on the line to verify your information, but more especially to get approval to send you a packet in the mail. And the bottom line is your approval to allow them to add a charge to your telephone bill which will continue UNLESS YOU REMEMBER TO CANCEL IT!!! You can call your telephone company, but they won't watch for the extra charges. You need to watch your telephone bill and call your phone company and get them removed when they show up!!! These people are also very vengful, ifmyou piss them off they will call you several times a day from an un-identifiable number and they somehow can make your phone seem as though you had left it off the hook, you get that loud buzzing tone in your answering machine and the operator's message about hanging up your phone. If someone has found a way to deal with these awful people I should like to see it posted here>

Recieve calls every few days from 423-535-9612. Try to call back and get a recording that the number has been disconnected.

These calls come up Chattanooga, TN.  They are relentless.  Calls twice a day, everyday,  for weeks now.

423-535-9612...called back several times only to get it has either been disconnected or all the circuits are busy. Gee! I wonder why?  My elderly mother was told that she had won a very large sum of money by someone from this number. They told her that the check was to be delivered to her in a few weeks. The name of the company was not given.  When I looked up  the number on the Internet, no information was given. Finally a call to the BBB of TN where I was told to check this site! Seems like this number is a favorite for scammers trying to get information!  DON'T SEND ANY MONEY TO THEM, DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION and if you can't get ahold of someone that leaves a number....it is more than likely a SCAM.  Time to change all the account numbers!!

they call and said my son was in big trouble and he could stop this if he calls and sets some thing up. what the poop is that all about, my son has a lawyer let them talk to him.

I also got  called from this number. Thanks to you people's comments I knew to block it with my caller ID.  This is the only way to stop these kind of calls, unless you want to change phone number.  
Check amazon.com for caller IDs with blocking feature. They have a couple.  Maybe other places too. It works as long as the phone number shows in the caller Id.

I received phone call from this number and they were a company that collect out standing debt that are owed you. they are very persistent and keep calling even though you tell them you are not interested in their services. some time this number comes up 423-535-9612 and other times it is unknown. I told them to stop calling me and hopefully they will.  The name of the company is RBA  Rumson, Bolling & Assoc.

Yeah, they keep calling my house too and they never stop even though we don't answer. It's annoying because they call about three times a day, sometimes as unavailable.

My elderly father received a call the other night for this number and they kept saying it was for a "new medical card" that everyone will be receiving before January 15, 20012. They proceeded in trying to get him to give his bank account(s) numbers and other personal information. This is definitely a "phishing" number. Please if you are getting calls from this number, call the BBB in Tenn. That is the only way to find them and shut them down.
