I've gotten periodic (once every 2-3 days) calls from this number for the last couple weeks.  They only let it ring about three times, and they never leave a message.

Caller ID indicates calls once/twice weekly. IMHO, it's a telemarketing scheme to phish for active phone numbers.

Just got a call 3/8/2010.  Hang-up.

Have told them numerous times that this is a business and not a personal phone number.

Repeated telemarketing calls to cell phones and landlines on the do not call list.  The callers are just doing their job, but the inept department management isn't willing or able to stop the illegal calling.  Newspapers are suffering economically throughout the country and some are unfortunately resorting to criminal tactics to try to increase their income.

i have recieved several calls from this number over the last 2 weeks.  i don't answer and no message is left.

Just called and said She was not violating my do not call list because a computer dialed the number, I said well ask the computer to stop dialing my number and she replied that she needed my name and i replied the computer didn't dial my name it dialed my number. She continued to be a smart [***] and I finally yelled at her and she accused ME of harassing her? What a freaking crap company

Told them not to call anymor, they were indeed from the Chattanooga paper, and I live 400 miles away, why would I want the paper?????

My 13 year old son just received a call from this number on his cell phone.  I called it right back and it was the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

they called me today, june 24th, and june 28th. at first i didnt think anything of it and just thought it was a random phone call but they just keep on calling....it's arritating.

I don't even live in TN, let alone Chattanooga, but keep getting the Chattanooga times calling. Our number is NOT listed and it is on the 'do not call' list. Go to http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/ and register your phone numbers. IF after the allotted time allowed by the fcc, then go back to the link and register a complaint. Don't be lazy, be active and your voice can do some good. Business in America is rampantly corrupt, practicing everything from illegal calls like this, to outright extortion. Stop big business from destroying what's left of America. A poor economy is no reason to break the rules, or the law.

haha. 400 miles? I live in Sydney, Australia, now. They keep calling my new Skype number (because it's a 423 number)... I mean really..

That's too funny, Matt, although ridiculously annoying!!!  I do live in Chattanooga, so I'll see what I can do to stop this crap!
