This is an obvious scam attempt from a company located in India. They infer they are calling form Microsoft, but that is obviously not so. They have you look at your computer error log and claim that it shows you have a "serious problem" with your computer that they will fix. The error log entries they claim are indicative of a "serious problem" are the normal oopsies the computer logs everyday. If you let them have control of your computer they will have access to all of your private and historical information on your computer.

I received a call about a month ago from someone claiming to be from microsoft and had me check my error log entries and actually convinced me that my computer was going to crash. I ashamedly fell for it and gave my credit card and allowed him to get into my computer which I ended having to cancel my card and notify the 3 credit bureaus. I was left with a black screen which I couldn't reboot and had to dump everything.

Today I got another call saying the same thing and I strung her along until I got the phone number and name. She told me the number is 424-777-2032 and was Instant support. I then informed her that I was aware of this scam but she insisted I could call this number to check it out. NOT ! ! !    I wish there was a way to
