Brigitte - 18 Jan 2008I get these calls constantly. They always seem to call when my child is crying or I'm busy some other way. Once I answered and got dead air. I know it's legit and Blue Cross b/c they sent me a letter saying they were trying to call me. They have called at least once a day for a few months. I'm not sure why they won't just move on. Ackk!

Krystle - 13 Mar 2008Call Customer Service and request to be taken off the calling list. They will be able to verify why you are getting the calls. Most of the time they are nurses offering assistance as part of your benefits.

charlottefever - 16 Aug 2008If you work at Boeing and ever filled out one of the health plan surveys, that is why they call. They won't call just because you have the benefit. Never do one of those surveys and they won't call, but if you are looking on this site, it's too late for that. The other thing you can do is just answer the phone and ask them to stop calling. Generally they will. Unlike telemarketers, their job is not to aggravate and stress people out. They actually want to help.

Jennifer - 30 Mar 2007just rec'd a call, ignored it so it would go to voice mail, message left, have rec'd calls from this "company" stating it's part of my current health plan coverage. I've not returned their calls any of the other times they have called yet they continue to call.

Dennis - 4 Apr 2007I just called this company back and they are a group of nurses that have been referred to you as a company called Health And Wellness. They have been asked to call you by your health insurance company or employer to help you manage a disease such as diabetes, back pain, severe arthritis, heart disease and so on. They do not leave a message on answering machines or voice mails because they use auto-dialers and apparently they don't work when a human doesn't answer the phone. Again, they are calling on behalf of your health insurance company or employer to help you manage a health condition. Appears to be legitimate.

NO_WAY - 12 Mar 2008You must work for them_or you are very gullable! According to my caller ID these folks have called 61 times since Jan012008. I am retired, so I do not have an employer, and I do not have any kind of health plan or insurance. Nice try, but they truly ARE telemarketers.

Sara - 13 Mar 2008They are a group of nurses that call to assist you. If you do not have insurance then you can call and request your number to be removed. These nurses are not selling anything. They are part of a wellness package chosen as a benefit chosen by employers and individuals who have Premera Blue Cross.

Chris - 5 Apr 2007The caller ID says Your Health Plan and the never leave messages. I finally called back and they wanted my name and other info. I refused and asked who their phone company provider was so I could complain, they refused and hung up. This is not a legitimate business.

Dragon_Keeper - 15 Jul 2008They can't leave messages and they have to verify that you are really you; otherwise, they'd be breaking privacy and confidentiality laws. Medical records are sensitive, and tightly controlled, documents. You should be glad they're being careful who they talk to.
I have this service and remember them asking me to participate. The people who call you are all R.N.'s, and all they do is make sure you're taking any prescribed meds, staying up-to-date on vacinations, going in for check-ups, etc. They aren't selling insurance because they should only be talking to members, but if that's not the case, find out why.

Richard - 8 Jun 2007They called my wife at work asking for me. She gave them my number. They told her I was wanting to make changes to my ins co which is not the case. When I answered their call there was no response so I hung up.

Erik - 12 Jun 2007Received a call from 425-201-3350 at 2:30 PM PST on 6/12/2007. Did not leave a voicemail. I called back from a blocked number, asked them why they called me and they said that they were referred to me by my health care provider but wouldn't be able to tell me why unless I gave them my name. I did not do so because I didn't want to validate that my information was correct being that it was likely sold to them without my consent. I do not have any disease that I need management with nor do I have any ongoing health issues. I asked the woman if it was a sales call and she said no, but I don't believe her.

SK - 22 Jun 2007Left a message on my Voice mail saying they wanted to offer a free program to my Premera Insurance for my wife. Man sounded nice on the message, but it seems deceptive. After all my insurance company can write me a letter to let me know about their services. Makes me think of FreeCreditReport.com. The report is free, but they want you to sign up for their service.
