Carter - 20 Mar 2007This Pacific Market Research keeps annoying me. Getting 3 - 4 calls from them. I filed a complain at www.donotcall.gov and suggest you do the same if this number is calling you.

Jim - 28 Jan 2008In order to get off their phone call list, I went to the following web page and called them directly. I spoke to someone and it took all of 5 minutes.

MagnumOutlaw - 19 Feb 2008I am took your advice and called them. The man gave me his name Andrew Rosenkranz and the 877-271-2300 number to call if they call again. Was apolegetic and promised no more calls. You all have a number to call and complain to. Use it wisely.

Joe Pettee - 9 Mar 2008I have had email communication from Andrew Rosenkranz and Shirley Harris both who promised to have my cell phone number (which is on the national do not call registry) removed from their call lists. I am still getting calls from the company.

mu - 19 Jun 2008I called and asked to be put on do not call list and they are still calling and hanging up if I pick up. There is a 30 day wait on the national do not call list, so as soon as my wait is over they are going to be reported and hopefully have to pay the fine.

There are classes of companies/organizations that are INITIALLY exempt from the Do Not Call list. Key word is INITIALLY. Each INTIALLY exempt company must be told directly ONCE not to call. Once an INITIALLY exempt company is told "Put me on your Do Not Call list" then they are no longer exempt and are required from that point on to follow the federal Do Not Call list laws and are subject to fines for continuing violations. No one is permanently exempt.
If you do not directly tell these INITIALLY exempt companies not to call you then you are leaving yourself open to them continuing to call, until you do tell them to stop.
This applies to ALL those INITIALLY exempt from the Do Not Call list regardless of exemption type - charity, political, research, prior business relationship, etc.

I said I hope you enjoy your fine because I reported you to the donotcall.gov list, now that you called again, you will just keep on paying, she hung up on me. Hope that did the trick, we shall see...
