The IRS scam call. They left a voicemail message. A very scary official-sounding woman saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and i should call this number for information. I wonder how many senior citizens they terrify with these calls. It's shameful the IRS takes no action against these scammers.

I guess I'm being sued.  Frightening.

Received call from a man with heavy foreign accent stating he was with IRS & they were filing a suit against me for non payment of taxes for $3000+, we're going to take my house, car, land & were coming to arrest me, would serve 5 years in jail.  Wanted to know how I was going to take care of this situation.  I got very angy, said some very ugly things but he said much worse to me than I did him.

Send these [***]  foreigners back they are braking the law why are there here what's wrong with this picture  stealing money from people saying their with the IRS I'm going prank call them every hr just to piss them off

Caled stating the IRS is suing me and that I need to call the number to stop this lawsuit.

Irs is suing me ha I should call back this number 425-320-3990 think it's time the irs finds out who is pretending to be them

Recording claiming to be IRS saying I owe money.....scam

Called and said they were from IRS and that I was being sued. Told e to call 425-320-3990

A message was left on our machine. It's the IRS, having been trying to get in touch with me. A suit will be filed. We owe them $$$.  Idiots!!!

We are receiving an automated message about an IRS.  According to IRS page:

If you know you don’t owe taxes or have no reason to believe that you do, report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) at 1.800.366.4484 or at www.tigta.gov.

You can file a complaint using the FTC Complaint Assistant; choose “Other” and then “Imposter Scams.” If the complaint involves someone impersonating the IRS, include the words “IRS Telephone Scam” in the notes.

The callers are in India and Pakistan. Nothing the US can do one way or the other .Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.

Pretty much an impossible task, there are over a billion people living (if you can call it that) on the Indian sub-continent. . No way to find any of those scammers using current technology.  I don't think.   Anyway the US doesn't have any jurisdiction in these countries.

Got a call sat about 12pm that I had a lawsuit against me they didn't say there name and didn't say my name but I was to call that # about the actions against me I live and take care of my elderly mother house # is in her name these jerks need to b put down

It's because these calls ORIGINATE from Pakistan...With the money they scam, it goes to terrorist organizations..<Go figure

You aren't getting sued....It's a scare tactics...Ignore them.

I wonder if they "came to your house" yet?? If not, then don't worry about it. The call ORIGINATES from Pakistan.

Don't call back...just ignore it.
