- callback| 1 replyI called them back. They are some marketing firm. If you call the number back you will get an automated message. Press #1 to be placed on their Do Not Call list. My number is already registered but apparently that doesn't protect phone numbers from everything. Hope this helps!
- Robyns521I received a call from this number on my cell phone. When I answered, noone spoke. After 30 seconds I hung up. I will not call them back because I don't want to waste my time verifying that my number is active.

- zekerGet these Bulls**t calls everyday and I don't answer them. Know they are Bulls**t because I check this website after they call. Telemarkerters SUCK!!!
- I Hate TelemarketersI used to get the company information about telemarketing calls and then post it in forums like this one. I also used to get the company president's personal home phone, along with their relative's numbers and put them here for all to see and use, along with a recommendation to call them around dinnertime. But what I have learned is that they are cockroaches, and for each cockroach that you block with your phone, they simply re-invent themselves with another spoofed number. It's their job to annoy us, and they enjoy it.
Even though telemarketers are a fungus, I have come up with a solution: They should all be rounded up, put on an island, surrounded by a chain link fence which is electrified and then let their entire culture die out together.- Caller: Unknown

PLEASE READ BELOW!
FACT 1 - the DNC list CLEARLY does not work! Everyone knows this...or you should know this by now!
FACT 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work! A total and complete waste of time. Been there. Done that.
FACT 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help you.
FACT 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list – you’ll get laughed at!
FACT 5 - no "class action" law suits are being filed and certainly, none are being LITIGATED.
FACT 6 – contacting the BBB – LAUGHABLE!!! The BBB and the National Chamber of Commerce are corrupt organizations that sell their ratings to the highest bidder. You can forget them.
STOP BEING FRUSTRATED OVER TELEMARKETER CALLS!
STOP BEING A VICTIM!!!
PLEASE DO THIS! PURCHASE A CALL BLOCKING TELEPHONE!!!
Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset. Very, very convenient.
DON'T GET MAD – HIT BACK!
STOP BEING ANNOYED. STOP COMPLAINING!
BUY A CALL BLOCKING PHONE!
Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones. They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset.
COSTCO & AMAZON SELL THEM.
They work beautifully! These phones also block
“PRIVATE,” “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable. I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS. THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone!- Caller: incoming call

- I Hate Telemarketers replies to eviesdad| 2 repliesThe reason a Call-Blocking Device hasn't worked for me is because they constantly spoof their number. If you get a call, then enter the number into the call blocking function, they simply re-spoof their number which is then unaffected by the call blocking.
The only TELEPHONE solution I have ever known of is to REVERSE the situation by only allowing certain callers to come through and ALL OTHERS to be blocked out. This is difficult to do with a business that constantly gets new client calls every day.
There are two reasons why they spoof their incoming numbers. The first is described above, and the second is because there are lunatics like me out there who have the ability to identify the owners of these companies and plaster their personal information all over the internet.
If it could only be true that a Call-Blocking setup would work, I'd have bought one years ago. - eviesdadThey called again - their call was blocked.

- Jimsface replies to I Hate TelemarketersI guess what we all want to know is HOW...it is that you identify the numbers. Myself it is mostly my business as well, with a successful SEO on the Google page, everyone calls.
But, my friend, if you would share with me HOW numbers canbe identified by their owners, eternal gratitude...
Jim - David French425-320-5027 calls and leaves no message and does not answer. If I had a way to reverse the call and frazzle their wires, I would do it.

- lets hack 'emCalling all hackers and phreakers who get these ridiculous pestering unsolicited calls and texts. We need to break out those war dialer's and DoS attack their switch boards. When you find out the company attached to the number, war dial their main number and 800 numbers too (they have to pay for each call received on their 800 numbers). Maybe we can annoy them as much as they annoy us. Be persistent.

- Compassionate oneThink about it. Some poor guy sits at a desk in a cubicle in a place that almost looks like a chicken coop. As he puts his headset on each day, he wonders where he went wrong in his career choice. As soon as he pushes the "ready" button, the phone starts ringing. He doesn't know if he'll get a live, friendly person, or somebody who has something better to do than answer his call. The poor schmucks in this type of job deserve our pity. Can we figure out how to get them a real job so we can all get on with something better?

- W.T.Called...didn't answer. Get calls like this everyday. These SCUMBAGS should be stopped!!!
- get a real jobI have a couple of ways to deal with these parasites. First, I let the phone ring three full times before I pick up. I pick up and don't say anything for 2-3 seconds. If it is a computer autodialer, 80-90% of the time the computer will hang up thinking it has gotten a voice mail or answering machine. After 2-3 seconds, I say our company name, but don't give out my name. That way they don't automatically have a name if they call back and get someone else. If I still get a person and they insist, I tell them my name is "Richard Smith"(it's not). It is none of their business what my real name is, they are telescammers who are breaking the law. If they persist in calling over and over again, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I use a sports air horn right next to the phone. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was illegally telescamming and they deafened me!" Good luck with THAT argument. The judge might give me a medal. Reporting these "people"(I use that term loosely) to the Do Not Call Registry is futile, they are usually spoofing their phone number anyway. If you have the time, have some fun with them. See how long they will stay on hold or still be on the line if you put the phone down. Take your cordless into the bathroom and have an extended "deposit" at the Porcelain Bank, complete with very loud fake sound effects. Tell them you ARE the boss and listen to their sales pitch, never saying yes to anything, but always saying that you will look at your numbers and see what you can do. Some scammers will record any affirmative answer you give and then splice it into a call and bill you for whatever they are selling, using that as evidence of an order. Waste as much of their time as you can, because that keeps them from scamming other people, and it can be a really fun stress reliever! Anything that we can do to make this less profitable for these ticks on the butt of humanity is a plus. Feel free to pass this on or add to it with your fun ways of taking back your phone lines. If these idiots would get a real job, the world would be a better place for all of us.
