Keep getting calls that hang up when I answer.

Just received a call from this number in Everett, WA in which no voice mail was left.  I do not recognize this phone number - June 4, 2013.

Same here.  No msg left.

My number is on the DNC list.  Caller ID displayed "SALES" with no other name qualifier for this number.  Did not answer, and caller left no message.  Presumably it's a telemarketer given the caller ID name like that.  If legit (i.e. I'm doing business with that company) they seem strangely hesitant to admit their identity.  Draw your own conclusion.

They put you on a long hold (...music......), afterwards someone gets on the line and as soon as you question anything, they just hang up! Probably got the cell number from a very recent AT&T U-Verse call.

They called me today..  I was curious..  They start asking all the questions they would need for identity theft.  I gave them nothing but grief.

Just received a call from this number.  He wanted my credit card number for a "one-time shipping charge of $2.95" to ship me two $100 gift cards.  Needless to say, this is a scam and I didn't provide any info.  As soon as I began to question him about it, he promptly hung up on me!  DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!!  THIS IS A SCAM!!!

just got a call from these crooks on my cell, press one to speak to live operator, so I did and I'm sure his ears are still burning.  I hate telemarketers, have I said that before?

I got the same call.  I heard that they wanted to put the shipping cost of the VISA gift cards on a credit card.  Can you spell F-R-A-U-D A-T-T-E-M-P-T?

I just received a similar call - I hung up before a live person picked up on the line - this is definitely BAD NEWS!  SCAM...

They called me earlier today??!? I didn't answer, but no voice mail was left  but i would laugh if they heard my voice greeting lol but the call was from Everett WA

9:08 6/19/13... the first of probably 5 scam calls I will receive today.  Come on, already, USGovernment... if you can track every call made to, from or in the US, surely you can MAKE THIS STOP!!  Set up a web site where we can report these calls, then after 500 of us complain, turn off their phone privileges... if the scammers lose more money in setting up new numbers than they make in ripping of American Citizens, this would STOP!!

Exact same thing happened to me-- "have a major credit card ready" for a "shipping charge" so that they could send me two $100 gift cards after completing a "survey" of phishing information.  Total scam. Get the word out!

The source of the call does not necessarily have to be Everett, Washington, USA.  The phone service for this company is provided through a company called "CallerID4U" which provides Internet based telephone service delivery.  We call it VoIP but you may call it "Internet phones" instead of "land line" wires into a building.  You cannot tell where the company is, but the phone carrier, CallerID4U, knows who this is.

Just got a call from this number on my office number.   The automated call wanted me to "Press 1" to accept a free $100 Visa Card.   Of course, I didn't do that.  The automated system said there would be a $2.95 shipping fee.   I didn't want to bother with them or I would have asked why they didn't take the $2.95 from the Visa.  Of course, we all know, it is a scam.   Never give your personal info out to anyone folks.   If it is free, then there should not be a fee of any kind.

Received the same call as others  >  They can afford $100. gift card but can't afford to mail it :  Last time I mailed a letter it was around 40 cents ;   Hang up  Quick !

Received a call from this number today and did not answer. They left a computer generated message and said that either I or someone in my family had recently visited an "affiliate" website and they were notifying me that I was eligible to receive two free Visa cards for a one-time shipping charge of $2.95.  Caller ID identified the caller as "Sales".
