i get this call at least once a week iam on dnc list

It was a auto dialer calling saying that our phone number had won a contest for us to have a name brand (which was not stated) alarm system free of charge if we agreed to play a "Free" sign in our yard. I listened to the full message then hung up. The odd thing was that the caller ID just stated the number for the callers name.

Didn't answer the call, I changed my number some time ago and only a hand full of people has my number. Didn't recognize the number and wont answer unknown number.

Claimed to be GE Security. Same old crap as Monotronix, Life Shield and Security Solutions. FREE SECURITY SYSTEM. WTF ever!!!!!!!

Man in India selling alarm.  System dials your number, you are given an option to press 1 or press 2.  2 is to be removed.  I keep getting these.  I think they are spoofed caller Id info, and then it dials out to a dialer.  They are calling numbers in the DO NOT CALL LIST.  They are breaking the law.  It's critical we all forward this to the FCC and FTC.  I want these idiots shut down and fined!  They are selling a security system, and claim they will put an alarm sign in your front yard.

I get lots of this exact same recording every week. Numbers vary but it is the same recording. A few weeks ago I played along with these fools, because of a report I read that one way to fight these fools is to waste as much of their time as possible (if they are talking to you they can't be scamming someone else at that time - and many are paid on commissions). He wanted my credit card number! Why? They said it was a free system? Got all kinds of dancing about they just needed it to verify that I was real and was not going to sell the unit as soon as I got it.... blah, blah, blah. Gave him a made up 'number' for a card. Everytime he repeated it back to me I changed a number. Kept that bozo on the line for more than 20 minutes (the line went dead on his end in mid-sentence, timer maybe?). It was more fun doing that then yelling/screaming at them. If I've got the time to kill in the future I'll do it again and again. And even more fun is that I'm still reporting each and every call to the FCC & FTC!

This number keeps calling though I am on the DNC list.

Robocall from "4253368219."  Seriously.  That was the Caller ID name and the Caller ID number.  Idiots.

Recording of insistent-sounding man's voice:  "Do not hang up.  Congratulations.  Your home has been selected for a free General Electric home security system."  That's all I had to hear to know it was a scam.  CLICK.

We all need to report these number-spoofing, scamming, illegal telemarketers each and every time they bother us to www.donotcall.gov.

Do not press any key to speak to anyone.  Do not press any key to be 'removed' from their list.  You are only confirming that yours is a real number.  Report them!

Same as Fed Up. Received call today (Aug. 1) at about 11:00 AM. Hung up at about the same point in the Robo call.

robo sales call -  don't pick it up if you have caller ID.

Got a call from this number a few days ago, got the same recorded call about the GE home security system from 360-322-6269 yesterday. I connected with a sales rep during the second call and he hung up as soon as I said I was on the federal do not call list. I reported the number to the FTC too.

These links may be helpful. If you have a little bit of time and patience you can sue these people and actually get them to rack up more violations and thus higher fees. No joke, my friend won thousands of dollars in small claims court.
